Let me conclude my feelings in one word: WHAT?

Seriously I fucking HATE when manga are so damn slow, but somehow end up with a rushed ending?!?!


It was obvious the world romp was too draw Amachin in many different outfits, but they could've done that on twitter or something, not like it'll be the last time they can draw the characters....


And I do NOT buy Tatsumi liking boys all of a sudden, there was ZERO buildup or hints that he was even gay or Bi or pansexual. All of a sudden, he's just like:

I seriously thought all this time that Amachin was a girl. I thought it would be the twist since he kept saying "I'm hard" and nobody really confirmed his gender the entire manga. Heck, even Manga sites didn't even Tag this manga as a Yaoi manga. They might now since it was revealed, but for 5 years, it was ambiguous. Idk, it dropped the balls hard at the end. At least we get an actual confirmation.

Really disappointed, hopefully the epilogue and extras make up for it. God, I wish mangakas would just build up to an ending, most manga end so abruptly and/or trashly. On top of all that, of course they end it when they get together!!!! Not even a kiss!!!

Overall, it was a 6.5 out of 10. I enjoyed the novelty of a crossdressing manga, but there are other manga, like "I turned my friend into a girl" that do it better, while actually providing compelling narratives like how they cope with their Gender, society expectations, genders roles, and family issues while still providing a well built, believable Yaoi romance. I liked the art, the full panel covers, the designs, and that's about it. I thought the drama was really surface level, but I'm glad they pushed the message that it's okay to dress how you like and not care what other people think.

I'm not sure why, but I feel somewhat disappointed in this ending

I love the conclusion but that was an absolutely mid execution for an ending, was the author them self in a rush or did the publishers rush it? Gives me really mixed feelings because I feel like it definitely could've been executed better 😔😔😔
