It is stupid. Absolutely Stupid. Never did I say that she shouldn't search for vikir, just her method is pure stupidity, read my comment again. First of all, she made a contract with a demon, the baskerville clan's worst enemy Second, the special power she gained in return was just a search ability Third, she risked getting possessed by the demon even if her will is high. Fourth, She's using black magic in public like a dumbass to find night hound even though she should've made an educated guess by now that he's in the academy and if not in the capital from the rumous on night hound. Fifth, From your own words, the place he "died" was a 90% death rate area, so he couldn't have moved. If he had died, he would be near the madam's nest or where the madam attacked at Le Rouge et Le Noir mountain. Sixth, The baskerville clan knows vikir is alive and where he is. Yet she contracted with a demon instead of contacting them.
And no, Even in desperation, I have at least 5 braincells to know not to make such braindead decisions. In desperation, my thinking ability would fade and I would be emotional, but even so why would I contract with a demon..... An upper 10 one at that, to find someone.
She actually hunted the Vallak tribe in Vikir's absence, thinking that she would find Vikir's remains. The Vallak's Chief "The mother" (forgot her name) died in the process of protecting the Vallaks againt's Sirie(The red haired waifu)
By this time, the Vallak Chief "The mother" is already dead. It will be revealed later when the Vallak chief daughter ang Vikir meets in the Dungeon the Vallaks are trapped in.
So she got the contract to kill the barbarians? Still seems stupid but it is an understandable reason. She saw the barbarians with vikir at the end when running away from the madam so she could redirect her anger to the barbarians and gain strength through a demon contract since the barbarian leader is as strong as Hugo

Do think a search skill make her survive in that land, her and Baskerville haven’t conquer and there’s a freaking giant spider they fleeted off, her goal is kill all the barbarian and search for Vikir
A Quick power to be above an elite magician, is a contract with a demon,
I don't think you understand something, the patriarch now actually worries about vikir and did you forget that the madam is now gone? They would've figured it out by now considering that the madam wouldn't be seen for a long time. Her goal isn't to kill all barbarians, that's the baskerville and morgue clan, her main goal is just vikir. If she wanted to find him, the dumbest method would be a demon, she knows that demons are mortal enemies and how vikir despises them Let's not forget sett and Quilty, what's stopping vikir from thinking she's a demon acting? She's not even trying to be good, she's using necromancy in public to lure him and she even uses black magic
1 - Making a contract with a demon; 2 - Using necromancy; 3 - Knowing what the demons are doing to children and ignoring it; 4 - stabing her uncle, the person who cares about her the most; 5 - Summoning a bunsh of undead in a huge area filled with innocent people;
Her crimes just keep increasing. At this point if MC does not kill her and instead wife her, that would be so fckn stupid.
Nah seriously facts. At first I was worried for the Aiyen ship not happening but now it just narratively makes the most sense. Bro saved her as a slave and become a temporary slave himself. Ended up saving those people and they rewarded that loyalty. Got Hugo to stop hating on good barbarians and it's still using a bow as his main night hound weapon. Even the collar shows how much she really thinks about BICHIR HIMSELF and the worries he carries. This girl (can't even remember her name anymore) was pretty self centered everytime they were together. Like what is she even doing rn. 😭

They'll probably excuse her since she still has control over herself and use that reason to save her. It would not be good for the author's health to sink this ship, as there are many readers simping for her already.

Wdym witchhunt? she's indeed in a contract with the demon, she said it herself. Can you please explain what you mean. I'm trying to understand why you said the other stuff was a witchunt since my understanding of a witchhunt is that it was false accusations, but in this former redhead's case she admitted it herself that she did form a contract with that demon.
Bichir is in contact with demonic artifacts like Beelzebub, Decarabia, Dantalian's Mask or Andromalius' ring. By what has been described, a demonic contract can be made with the demon not taking over the host, the demon tries to erode the host's mind like with Seth van Baskerville or Quilt Lun Indulgentia, and then consume their mind and sould and take over. So making a contract with a demon is akin to have demonic equipement.
For me, 2 and 5 are the same. If the undead attack bystanders then would be bad but so far It seems like Camus is in control and wont attack civilians. For me, It sounds like the Quovadis Clan and the Rune Church deemed necromancy as some kind of sin that must be attacked. My comment about witchhunts is because according to history, most of them were politically motivated (Remove adversaries, suppress the population, get land and power).
Okay, I get your point now. Thanks for explaining. I still can't relate the witchhunt with her circumstances but I'll reread to make sure, I must have not remembered some details. 👍🍻
I see wym, just consider that in Bichir previous life, she dissapeared after going into reclusion. Just like Seth, she problably gave in to the demon's corruption and was consumed after getting her sister/cousin Rose(Geronto). This time she went into reclusion but she has a drive to not being consumed.
Im not condoning she doing the demon contract.
That she knew what the demons were doing to kids... I dont know if she actually knew since she went into reclusion, so I dont know if she actually knew.
Im putting a spoiler here, read it if you want She shifted to the dark side of her clan after years searching for Bichir's body, also she didnt stab her uncle Adolf(the one that accompanied her before, the one that cares the most for her) but her uncle Snake, the original contractor of Seire and leader of the dark faction of the morgue clan
She using necromancy is not that bad in my eyes since many others use it, I dont think its a power related to the demons.
If you see my other comments, I dont mention 1 because I agree that was a mistake
Eh, thanks for the details. I wouldn't have known those by just rereading. I change my mind about her now since the details you provided shed a new light on what her motivations were.
KinKin KloudAngel FloresBichir is in contact with demonic artifacts like Beelzebub, Decarabia, Dantalian's Mask or Andromali...
I mean while I see what you're saying the core basis of necromancy in this uses corpses at some capacity. It less that she's using necromancy more that it didnt make sense for her to use. She kept somewhat up with bichir as a magician but is using fodder necromancy skills now to accomplish her goal? I can give you a pass on 1 and 2 and 4 still needs context, but 3 and 5 are definitely fair. Summoning undead around civilians was dumb and we've seen that she uses real corpses as she raised a child's corpse. A demonic contract with a semi sentient weapon, is not the same as soul release contract with a upper level demon. One is more like an ingredient that obeys you while the other is more like a conspirator that can stab you at any time. I would say their similar but have too many differences.
I think you are forgetting she is 16/17 and basically a maiden in love. Also, she has her mind altered by Seire. Not condoning her actions, I just see whats the logic on this
Nah we have to start giving teenagers more credit for their intelligence. I was still saying the exact same thing when I was still in my teenage years and have many younger friends still in that age range that would make far more intelligent decisions than that. 😭 I wrote that already giving her some passes since I noted that she was younger, but if she was an adult this would be beyond wild behavior.
Having kids adds perspective but doesn't invalidate the core of what I'm saying. There's a large gap between being emotional and crashing out to the degree of corpse hunting.
Buddy, opinions are not absolute. Your opinion is not 100% true as nor is mine. You thinking my opinion invalidates your or otherwise is... inmature to say the least. ....
I never said opinions were absolute, but you included having children in a manner as if to invalidate. If misunderstood then I apologize, but being quick to call someone immature is immature in and of itself. We don't need to continue further, you have a good day/night though.
My bad, I didnt mean it to be like "you dont know since you dont have kids", it was more like "I have a different perspective" since I had your same way of thinking prior to having teenagers. And you can have your opinion and I can have mine, we dont need to have a unified opinion... People nowadays have forgotten that a debate was an exchange of ideas, not a imposition of 1 idea over others. Have a good day too.
I don't know what mental gymnastics is she having to bind herself to a demon to meet him. If he died to madam like she thought he did then it's a futile endeavor to seek him out. If she belives he was alive and needed to find him it would made much more sense to use the family power as the hier. Is she retarded or something!?
I've Read the Novel related to the current Chapter and her character as a whole. I was mistaken and the statements i made was a jumped conclusion + poorly explaining her character depth, on the manhwa adaptation.
I know that the plot needs her to fall for it to progess the way the author intended. But it doesn't make sense her character do a 180 on a authors whim. There is no underlying fault to be exploited just the fact that "she lost people" now she is evil. And become the same type of creature that killed her precious friends. Since the Madam was considered a type of Demonic beast, and now so is she. Its poor characters development.
Can't she ask the grandpa wolf? If she didn't stab her uncle, the uncle ojisan could have asked the Baskerville's patriarch gramps if Bichir was found already. Author must have been bingeing on soju when they wrote this lmao.
There was a million ways her character could tackle the problem as she was written to find ways to actually accomplish her goals. Be it retrieve the corpse, avenge him, find him and etc... a warlock type pact with a demon was the last thing her character would do even in desperation she still had WAY TOO MANY options before resorting to demon communion.
Time VoidBrazilian HagI don't know what mental gymnastics is she having to bind herself to a demon to meet him. If he died...
i didn't read the novel but it's just too much to adapt, like in most webnovels the emotion, action, dialogue, explanation, detail of the place, inner monologue, battles were describe in written forms. when it get adapted to manhwa or anime some of those were gonna be shown visually while most of the inner monologue and dialogue would get simplify or cut.
I mean that's not most novels, that's every novel ever including plot-less ones . You're given zero limits when you're writing out a story which will always make things difficult, when you're adapting you're taking on the challenge of dealing with those constraints. Props to the people who are able to visualize those visions tbh.
I hate how they're dragging this out. Lady if you want to meet Bichir, TAKE OFF YOUR FUCKING MASK AND STOP SUMMONING UNDEAD!!!! IT'S FUCKING DUMB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't know what level of premium drugs she took for her to have this mental thought process. She thinks night hound is bichir but summons skeletons out of nowhere? Bruh she's getting so fodderized when she was introduced as an upper level magician. Why would she fold on that level of power for low level necromancy?💀 Even then why would she murder her uncle. Like I'd be sad if my kin died but I'm not desecrating their corpse either. 😭
Before that I was on her side, but this... this dumb Camyu. I can no longer relate to her. She is doing every step wrong, playing dumb, endangering everyone for such a childish tantrum and she have to plan. Now I really hope that MC end her. Poor uncle, she doesn't deserve him in her life.
If this girl doesn't die the story is gonna be one hell of a self contradiction. Bro killed his own brother that had a contract with demon (though the demon had full control of his brother's body.) they're obviously going to save this girl because she is still in control even though she volunteered to contract with a demon, ignored the atrocities of the demons, committed a few herself, etc. etc. this is total ass if it happens
I hope it's demonic corruption that makes her so stupid, even when she and Bichir meets face to face without masks if she has truly thrown in with the demons there is no good way that Bichir would ever spare her. So why is she making it worse by actively doing evil when supposedly SHE is in control of her body until death, not the demon.
Look, I get that dragging out reunions is a common trope, but in this series, it only slows down the pacing. Yeah, the action in this chapter was cool, but wouldn't it be better to just have them meet already? Even if they end up on opposing sides, just get it over with. Dragging this out—who knows for how many chapters—is only going to hurt this arc. And that's just my honest opinion.
oonhasYooo what the F was that plot development? MC's bully appears out of NOWHERE, and acts like he has been watching them fight this boss since the beginning, and knows MC is down there somewhere? I was sure MC was just having a dream in a dream type situation. I just lost all and every amount of likability towards this author for this 3rd rate villain development. Also why is Arisu still humoring this dude? What does the past matter, she could easily just kill him, no? For all they know, the world has ended, and the past connections shouldn't matter sh1t, like how strong or influental someones family was in the normal reality. Also MC was prepared to kill this guy, but now his mentality is totally collapsing and acting like some b1tch..? So does he have balls or doesn't he? This development should only make him want to kill the bully twice as much than before, and maybe the girl among him too.
GOKUI knew it🤣🤣🤣. I called it, she was an actual bitch all this time. I hope the author isn't stupid enough to make her the main heroine cause she is not attractive enough as a character. She just straight up an annoying fuck.
