            It's always disappointing when these manga authors want to come up with excuses (while sacrificing their story) that lead to fan service, public displays of affection, and porn, instead of just outright drawing the fan service or porn. If you want to draw fan service and/or porn, then draw fan service and/or porn, don't ruin a potentially good story a long the way.

                It kind of makes sense. A Great Sage is a term for a male virgin over fifty. So doing lewd things with girls to nullify the pain of using Great Sage, or being an old virgin, makes sense.
