everyone should not trust Justus version of the story. remember this is his version of the story. not an actual flashback, but a narrative he tell to el and leafa. Justus is smart, cunning and wicked. he got his priorities in place. he would do anything to achieve his goal. so, who knows how many of this narrative are the truth or how many of it are fabrication for his own benefit...what shown in this chapter shouldn't be taken as the whole truth of the event occurred.

So, this is interesting, Justus supossed to be the last bad guy, the one who control all the bad things happening, but if Justus has changed due Harold Alterations, the real Bad Guy it's unknown to Harold, and what you don't know, can kill you, then again, he has more allies than he realize.
