I wish this would update often... is there a novel for it?

That was some damn fine panelling work on the fight! I especially like the slow shots as the centipede turned its beam towards its own tail.

I almost posted about using its own beam against it last chapter, I seem to have chosen the right strategy. Very satisfying victory.

On the other hand, seriously all that and no evolution? That's anticlimactic as hell, and seems to just lead to a repetitive grind for XP that won't be particularly interesting or move the plot forward really and only just delay the events we really want to see. We want to see that evolution and see how it ends up first, and then we want to see him confront the evil "hero", any level grinding in between is going to feel like filler and have trouble holding audience interest. If the pacing is too slow it will kill any momentum this thing has and I hope the author won't make that mistake.
