I have to be honest. I'm kind of disappointed in how the comics portrayed Arthur's injuries. In the novel, I remember him having to wear makeup and the world's equivalent of liquid latex to cover the scars on his face and neck. He also still needed to use mana to move around. In my opinion it made the consequences of battle and why they lied about Arthur's condition clear.
