I actually like time travel but yea regression/reincarnation is too overrated, I don't think these authors research much about the time travel concept or paradox, they don't even know the value of 1 second change in the past can led to a drastic change in the future (the butterfly effect), they are invested only on the characters and harem either the timeline either shifts into an another universe creating infinite multiverse (as spiderman ATSV or Loki) but the original timeline doesn't stop there, it continues.
OR
the timeline is connected to the original universe, when travelling to the past say 20 years before, everything is erased and then rewritten according to the activities done in those 20 years. Here the concept of multiverse doesn't exist unless special circumstances.

The webtoon has adapted the later one.
