Probably not. Not every human is related just because they look similar, you know.

Ok, black hair. The chances of her being related to Iruma have now dropped quite a bit. Good.

Imagine playing Arknights and suddenly Amiya just decides to declare a duel against Lappland Alter on the condition that she gets promoted if she wins, consuming your Lappland Alter in the process

That's pretty much what's happening here

The fact that this came out in this era, where the Epstein Files just got a second release, is just... Ironic.

Not really, considering the state we've seen the Demons in TGED. Most likely a happy accident.

It is most likely related to brain development, since ravens and humans are pretty intelligent creatures, they need way more time to develop the neural pathways, so the body grows more in line with the brain. Dragons may work differently because magic is involved and could speed up the process. My bet is that mentally, yellow is like 14-18 years old.

I mean, if a random guy in a Theater could, why couldn't Daigiren?

No, no, I think I understood what you mean. The guy in the theater was more of a "SOMA" situation where the mind is only copied and transferred, while the Diagren guy actually transferred the entire thing without making a copy.

I read the entirety of One Piece, and so far, all of the other devil fruits (except the Giraffe fruit, and I still hate the Giraffe fruit) did have their own internal logic and workings that interacted perfectly with what was previously estabilished. Not these, though. I can excuse the Arrow Fruit because everything it does is still vaguely related to arrows, but the Briar Fruit suddenly just making invisible thorns is where One Piece jumped the shark for me. It read more like mere plot convenience, rather than internal logic. But we'll see.

Doffy I can understand because as someone with biology as a hobby, I know that several spiders can actually fly using their threads, and One Piece had estabilished earlier that some clouds are indeed solid enough to stand on. Quake Fruit works to make "tremors", which are basically strong waves, which can travel through water and air as well. Oceanquakes are a real thing, and air is one of the most devastating factors in explosions, because the compression of the air forces it outwards and turns it into a moving wall of destruction (one of the reasons why nuclear bombs can devastate entire cities so fast). Chopper's fruit is one of the more BS ones, but one could assume that it's because it reflects the several sentient people of the world as humans, which includes giants... And some normal people that are just big.

It all was still based in the internal logic of the story. But turning around and saying "by the way, the thorns can become invisible now" is kinda cheap and doesn't reflect any other prior knowledge that the story has shown to us. In fact, I still believe that Vegapunk's theory kinda ruined the Devil Fruit system by allowing this kind of "random bullshit" to be able to manifest.

Also, I was not hating it. The Arrow Fruit is kinda mysterious in the way it's portrayed, and the entire flashback sequence didn't help in making me warm up to it because it just abruptely stopped the arc to show backstory that didn't include it. I'm sure that the Arrow Fruit, if given more time to be explained, would make sense. But not the briar fruit suddenly making thorns invisible, one thing has nothing to do with the other.

Hype, but is it just me or these new devil fruit powers from the World Government side feel... too "plot devicey"? Like, let's take the Arrow Fruit. At first, it said to telegraph her attacks with arrows. Then, said arrows themselves could be attacks. And now it seems these arrows can control people? It's far too vague and seems to do whatever Oda needs it to do that is vaguely related with arrows, not to mention that the weakness of the arrows telegraphing attacks has not once come into effect, making them pretty much mute or displaying the allies as stupid.
Then the Briar Fruit. At first it made perfect sense. But suddenly "oh by the way, the thorns can be invisible now". Where did this come from???? Why is it something that this fruit can do??? Honestly the most understandable fruit here is the nightmare fruit, and even then, the team has dealt with things more powerful than mere nightmare monsters. This entire arc has been written in such a weird way that I can't help myself but wonder if Oda is already past his prime.

I don't care how strong you think you are, that's a brown bear and you should leave the premises immediately

There actually is a spider that lives permanently underwater, the species name is Argyroneta aquatica, which uses both the hairs on their bodies and their silk to basically make a makeshift diving oxygen tank by trapping air bubbles. It's quite interesting.
