These guys were sadly doomed to fail the second they grew complacent. After the initial attack it was obvious they were going to be prisoners of war for a while because you just tried to usurp somebody else's land yet the Naga response was extremely benevolent. Not only were they offered better living conditions (which in itself is a massive improvement in contrast to what they were living in before), they also had freedom, wages, and even access to entertainment/cantines. They literally got fed a Golden spoon, not even silver and are still complaining. Even if we entertain the idea of them starting their own labyrinth they either wouldn't be able to defend whatever land they do manage to get their hands on, or they wouldn't be able to conquer someone else's land considering how they are one of the weakest species. It was the only thing I was thinking about while reading this. This series is so dog shit bruh 😭.

The series was ok until the rape scene then it became an instant 2/10. The fact that it just ended without them addressing it makes me sick ngl. 0/10 series because of that. The plot is already mediocre as hell so you have to make the characters at least decent. The fact that I was like warm on those I liked and hated others is not great 😭. I finished it just so I can confidently say I finished this and never have to touch it again. Do NOT start this series. Literally so many better manwha in this same site to waste your time on. This was a bone-chilling chapter. I love when author can make you feel the weight of a moment with only dialogue. Something as simple as accepting him as a brother carries so much weight due to what we saw him go through. A lot of times authors skip the grind and hit straight to them being overpowered. I love seeing characters earn the right to use greater power. Genuinely loving my read at this point. Over time it really started to cut itself out as something unique. Honestly this is a plausible enough twist for me to give it the pass, I just don't like how convenient it is for Choyun. Good plans aren't rewarded with victory or advantage, somebody just gets a random step boost in the end to beat their opponent. I would prefer if there was a level of investment similar to here before people awaken and surpass their limits. I think the word we're looking for is causality. The results of each matchup aren't making sense because not enough went into it. Next round we're going to see the MC transcend for whatever reason. I feel like not every Awakening has to happen mid-fight. It's just starting to cause the story to feel repetitive. Lookism honestly has the same issue to a degree.

So I've been reading the same length of time as you guys, obviously if I'm on this chapter, and I don't know how I'm feeling about the cult leader anymore. It's not that he's not justified in taking revenge and a lot of these situations, but if I'm on the stature of power that I claim to be I wouldn't see a reason to to be honest. I feel like an overwhelming display of strength while being merciful is somehow even scarier than wrath. Personally I'm this strong I would take a single finger (ring finger) as punishment and then just drop them to the ground. The precision you need to cut a finger at that location would require more skill than just lopping off a whole arm. And the thought that that person could have done more in my opinion since a far greater message. I don't know I'm kind of tired of seeing the martial artist population walk around with one arm 😭🙏🏿
