Only gods are able to resist it because they cut the prayers of other storylines out of their head using their storyline. Awakeners don't have a storyline yet and that is why that weapon works on them. The reason Jaehwan doesn't get affected by it is because he can just withstand all the prayers without having to make himself not hear some/most of them.
At least that is how I understand it works.

It ends at chapter 100, I really wish there was more story because it feels there could be so much more done with the story. I hope another studio picks up the story. Even so, the story extremely good and the art was even more spectacular. This is one of my favorite stories of all time with its deep plot and amazing art as I stated before.

I don't really agree with Mok that there is no action, but I do agree with the fact that I don't really like the romance that this story has made. I don't know why, but I just don't get the feeling that I get when I read other stories when I read this one. I usually like romance stories and they are fun to read, but this story just has a mixed feeling for me. I'm still gonna continue reading though because this story is good overall and doesn't have huge plot holes like some other stories.
