You have to branch out some. Male MCs with "bad attitudes" do get a lot of complaints just like this MC(especially those with sexual violence, isekai, and harem tags(depending on the story)k). If you read Manhua, you have a female MC who is way worse than this MC but people love them, you even have a Manhwa female MC who has a bad personality but can't do any wrong according to the commenters. It all just depends on what genre and type you read. There's really no noticeable difference unless you are looking for a difference.

There are as many if not more complaints about male mc personality. Mc would be torn apart just for being nice or not killing everyone who offends them in any way. plus only a few people are put off by this MC personality. It's not that big of deal.

I got it from all the manhwa, manhua, and mangas I've read. Yes, that falls into what I've said and I see this type of bashing a lot. If it's an FMC They will read it and decide whether to continue or not based on the first few chapters. Most of the time If they don't like it they leave without writing a comment. Sometimes They say something. I mean Harem with the isekai tag gets as much if not more backlash. It's not for no reason, they just have preferences. For me, it's mc's(doesn't matter the gender) who treat people like trash just because they can(for no good reason other than to show off authority and strength). This MC has some personality issues.

No, I give them the right amount. They bash male mc alot. Male mc spare someone, is weak, being lazy and much more will get bashed for it. Same for female mc except that they don't bash as much. They like when the female mc is badass, crazy, or just don't care. This again is the same for male mc. Female mc have to not be weak and likable while the male mc has to not be weak and not be a push over. Female mc gets more support no matter what she does going by the comments in many stories with female mc. Male mc has a valid reason to spare someone and get hated for it. The real advantages is how many people read them.
