The amount of sheer superiority he's oozing from this reverse-jumping is immaculate, man's definitely holding his punches as well at a level just enough not to take their lives. They be having knives, bats, pipes and shits on their hands, even then he could still just beautifully fold them like clothes in a dance of death.


These thugs made many mistakes, and they couldn't have dug their graves even deeper by bringing weapons.


Imagine this; "Are those knives?" Ijin thought to himself while eyeing the hordes with pure coldness, but he is only met with disappointment at how poorly they used these weapons. Frustrated by this, his dance came to a halt. "nononono- That is NOT how you use a knife...."


Right as he said that, he immediately dived on and snatches a single knife from one poor bastard—one is enough for them, two is too much, so he picked one— and then tries to show to these amateurs what a proper way of holding a knife really is.

And teach them he did....


For every second and under that passes, one-two and three hits is delivered into their bodies in such a short time, writing his signature all over their very being with his trusty knife he's been very acquainted with not long ago. What's even more dazzling is that every strikes he threw weren't even aimed to kill, in fact—he is only putting the fear of god back into their very souls when they've already tossed such a thing before.


For them, they are witnessing the living embodiment of death, but
For Ijin, this is just his way of giving mercy to those scumbags.

This manga is awfully good—as in how it managed to make me brush off the MC's immoral acts and his borderline evil tendencies, if not, it made me admire them instead. It was kind of edgy at first, which is not for the faint of heart, and still is, but I got sharper with every edge it gives (no, not that kind of edge. Put your pants on). Hell, I'm so used to consuming lots of those common Shounen stories where the happy-go-lucky protagonists can't get toppled cause friendship amirite? Except in this manga, friendship is still power but in a different way. By attaining allies, you get power, and how do you get allies? MONEY, therefore, money is POWER, and blackmailing aswell lol. Forgot to mention that the way the MC approach against any problem is more brainy, tactical and strategic to point out the obvious.


If I were to align MC with one of the dark triad, it would be Machiavellianism, you can find out why by READING THE DAMN MANGA.



Art? Good enough. Designs is cool. And the fight choreography is impactful
Story? It's been smooth-sailing so far, the conflict and drama keeps it going, not to mention that these flaming drama sometimes get deliberately gassed by our manipulative MC as a mean to wager for a higher-risk and a higher-reward game as well.
Characters? Likeable! And they're a bit more alive than the average cardboard boxes people in your common story. As for the antagonists, most of them are jerks which makes the MC's action tolerable and satisfying, some antagonists being less-jerks but with good goals, although I felt remorseful at times, yet they still get pissed on indiscriminately.



All in all I'd give it an 8,5/10 for my manga standards.

Oh boy, where do I even begin with this chaotic mess of an rpg-like fantasy mess, this is a compliment if you can't tell by the way.


So, we start off with our main guy, the literal personification of based-redpilled and badassery, Noel Stollen. A young and seemingly unassuming pretty boy who possesses the most undesirable, shittiest job/role known to man, a talker. Yes. A Talker. As for his motivations and goals, I leave it elsewhere, it's written there on the synopsis lol, and more indepth in the manga.


Now, what's a talker in this manga? Is it a; (1). Class that uses the character's own verbal and maybe vocal ability as a weapon capable of harm and destruction? Or (2). Job, that's also as previously mentioned, uses the talker's own ability to command and boost their team?
The answer is both.


Think of it like geass, more specifically Lelouch's geass but without the need to make eye-contacts for it to take effect, the talker uses their yapping power as an instrument to help the team by leading them, essentially making the talker as the team's strategizer, and by applying buffs to the team and also debuffing the enemy by mere utterance of words alone, they still need mana to activate it though. If I remember correctly, talkers have a skill, if not, a passive skill that enhances their speech volume or how loud the talker speaks. The skills that the talker class uses has hypnotic effects towards the target—however, not to the extent that it overwhelms the target to complete control, because of course that's reserved for higher-tier talker class only. Allies or enemies can be affected by its hypnotic effects and they can be both good and bad depending on the skill, hence why I compare it to Lelouch's Geass. Speaking of Geass, I think Noel and Lelouch are very much alike. The things that sets them apart is their motives—whereas Lelouch's act is for the greater good and the dream of a peaceful world, and Noel for power, influence, and security—and also how they view their parents, the former admires his only parenting figure and the latter hates them both (except for the maid).
