he was a child when that happened. so 1) he had many issues due to the childhood trauma from both his mother killing his dad and from not just bullying, but getting ostracized by everyone around him and 2) he did not have any maturity and intelligence or coping mechanisms or adults that could help him to cope and bear with all these events. his hatred for his mom is a deep-rooted issue that has been festering for decades. this is not something that can be done with a simple revelation or a thought "oh my mother did it to defend me", it requires months if not years of therapy
