and as ppl before me have pointed out and those that come and will point out, just because the tropes are common doesn't mean they can't be twisted/turned in an interesting way.

uuuh i can't really recall but my guess is that she felt guilty or smthing (can't remember if she was the author or a reader). like i can see why she would think, ok, this is how i'll do this (giving him better treatment and what not) but it backfired and the storys mc became obsessed with her even though he had no idea who the (whatever the persona was called) was. idk what to say about this ngl, my brain moved on from this story :D

yeah probably the "story" is deviating already.i mean.. even small things changing could change the story/world, not that the mc(s) recognize that though 😂🤦‍♂️. or rather the authors make the mcs oblivious to the changes (e.g. saving the storys mc or helping some character, etc.. have read plenty of these stories and it all goes the same way, which is rather sad)
