Yuri
This is just your school. Don't forget about your parents' punishments. Parents who put you in schools like this, have a high chance to still hold traditional values, like beating your ass. Screaming, "It's child abuse!" won't extinguish the fire that will soon be on your ass. When parents are being parents, staying on top of you, the big, bad bully wouldn't last long.
The only chance I see someone getting away with bullying long term! is if there parents hold a high powered position and spoil you rotten, but even then, good luck with that. It's one thing to power trip in public schools, but in Catholic private schools? Nah, no way. Too many overseers, you're on a chopping block with that one. It's a case of the good outweighing the bad scenario. No matter how you look at this story, it's unrealistic from chapter one.
In my opinion, whatever author wrote this needs a reality check. The author was probably an aspiring bully who never got a chance to start their bullying career, so why not create a story about saving the damsel in distress from bullying in a Catholic private school, thus bringing the bullies to life. If bullying exists, it's mainly social stigma, it's what you call verbal abuse. Does physical bullying exist? Sure, it can, but not mid classroom.
Now, if you want to be petty about it, you could argue the real bully is, in fact, the school system not letting you do what you want. But at that point, the whole world's a bully in your eyes. Poor me, right? I hate to break it to anyone thinking this way: the whole world has a system, and you have to abide by it whether you like it or not.
Don't get me wrong! I love me some yuri, but not when it's this unrealistic. Would I recommend reading this? No, because it lacks realism. If you're a big time yuri fan, you want realism. It's the reason yuri is what it is. Adding the classroom effect does not guarantee realism.
With that said, we know the story covers a significant historical period, and major campaigns, like the Western Zhao Invasion, can span over a hundred chapters and several years in real time. But what if I told you the story can easily push 10 years' worth of content, and there's been discussion that it could even push 15 years or more? Now, this depends on how far the author is willing to take it, what we do know is the author wants to conclude the story in at least five to ten years at China's unification. Whether Hara goes beyond that, only time will tell.
Considering all the above, Kingdom anime lovers are in for a world of hurt because we're talking soap opera levels of content. Google "Days of Our Lives" or "General Hospital" and see how many seasons there are - that's constant airing, by the way. When you take this into consideration, you will realize that we only get one Kingdom anime season covering at least 24 episodes every two to four years, we will probably not see the anime end until robots enter a significant historical period of their own. Which is wild to think about.
This concludes my TED Talk on Kingdom and the Kingdoms to come.
Anyway, I hope you had a great holiday, and I wish you a great upcoming New Year. Cheers!

Notice how Mr. Detective Foot said things have become really complicated. Well, the reason he feels this way is because he's making half the connection to ongoing events. Readers are expected to know such basics like the Law of Fate and the Law of Causality for certain genres and how they work. Otherwise, it becomes very complicated. He's having this issue. If he knew how laws worked, he would not have said a "Domain Expansion" is one of the things MC pulls out. He's literally walking with a domain? Like what?
Look, i have nothing against Mr. Detective Foot, I'm just clearing up the misinformation he's been throwing around. He has been going back and forth about the MC being weak to strong for few chapters now, MC was considered the strongest being as soon as he entered that world because of his laws and his first casuality effect. People are having a hard enough time understanding what's actually going on. Misinformation does not help one bit, take what he says with a grain of salt.
As a reminder, when the MC first entered the world he's in, he embodied the Law of Fate. The Law of Fate affects someone's destiny, this requires knowing the before and after, the present and the future, which only a god should be able to do. The MC was fated to be in that world, so he's at the center of fate. When Yutia had her fate changed by the MC's Law of Fate, this effect caused a god effect of causality. Yutia was then affected by the MC's Law of Causality, and since it was a god effect of causality, this caused a domino like effect, thus rewriting Yutia's every action to return in the MC's favor according to his high status.
This means Yutia had absolutely no say in the matter because the universe perceived it as such. The MC's god effect of causality became even more absolute when the MC acquired the forgotten god's power, this is when his Law of Causality reached its pinnacle. As long as no "Higher God" or "Stronger Law" exists to pull the universe in a different direction, the "Center" cannot move.
Anyways, expect some wild stuff like fighting eldritch gods, goddesses being present, etc. Like Mr. Detective Foot said, the things he fights went from goblins to gods. He's not completely wrong, though! you could look at it from the perspective that he's been fighting gods all this time with his current active laws. Since he reached the pinnacle, other higher gods would have taken notice.
We live in a day and age now where readers are expected to know such basics like the law of fate/law of causality for certain genres and how they work. If we were back in the 2000s, I would 100% be against this stance, but we're not, it's 2025, soon to be 2026. With the god trope being so popular nowadays, of course, laws would be expected to be known, because anytime gods are included in any story, there are laws. It's what makes a god a god and why there's a god above a god.
Without knowing any of this, readers are missing out, and those missing out are wanting to be spoon fed. Those people are not the targeted audience. The majority of authors writing stories around laws feed people enough to connect the dots, even without being extensively knowledgeable about laws.
It's not the author's fault if the reader fails to grasp an understanding because the reader prefers to be a passive reader instead of an active reader. You can't expect the expected. This is why the tag system exists, you have your main genres and subgenres. When you see specific tags like there being gods in the story, expect laws to be in that story. Expect the expected.
It makes you wonder: is brain rot really brain rot, or are times so rotten that readers immediately scream "bad writing" because they don't want to put in the extra effort to get a better understanding of what they're reading? It's wild times we live in and the world's patience is growing thin.
If you're specifically talking about the image source, I'll teach you a trick. Anytime you're looking for the source of a picture/image.You reverse image search the image, and now with AI, it's easier than ever. When you reverse image search an image, it shows most, if not all, sources where it was posted.
This also works for videos since all you need is one frame, and that one frame is usually enough to find the source. Happy sourcing!

MC being in that world is a cause, when the MC does something like sending a simple letter or performing simple actions, there's an effect that comes with it. That effect has an outcome, and that outcome is equivalent to his high status. In that world, he's considered a god, an absolute ruler of laws. That world/universe recognizes this, so it matches his status based on this criteria and gives a matching outcome. This is what's called the law of causality.
When the MC first entered the world he's in, he embodied the law of fate. Yutia was then affected by the MC's Law of Causality, and since it was a god effect of causality, this caused a domino like effect, thus rewriting Yutia's every action to return in the MC's favor. This is causing small, medium, and large ripples of causality along the way. Those ripples, caused by an effect, will only get stronger as time goes on.
As this is happening, it's dragging more people in, along with the other villains, with the MC as the center of it all, thus creating even more ripples that will continue in the MC's favor. On top of this, the MC is causing ripples of causality of his own, and when he acquired the forgotten god's power, that's when he officially became an absolute ruler of laws, reaching the pinnacle of laws. Before this, he was just considered an absolute ruler with strong enough laws to be at the center of it all.
Think of it this way: because his Law of Causality is at the pinnacle, picture the MC as a "Supermassive Black Hole" of destiny. This means any event that happens in the MC's world, even things he didn't start to begin with, eventually gets drawn into his "gravity" For example, if a villain tries to hatch a plot, the MC's law of causality "hijacks" that plot and turns it into something that favors him. As long as no "Higher God" or "Stronger Law" exists to pull the universe in a different direction, the "Center" cannot move.
In short, the MC is a walking powerhouse with passive laws manipulating everything 24/7 while being unaware of how powerful he really is and what he's manipulating. As long as no one has a stronger law of causality than the MC, he will always remain at the center.
Here's an inside look at a more darker lens perspective: on one hand, you have Masashi head over heels for Asako, and on the other hand, you have Asako leading Masashi on, who is obviously in love with her and she is aware of it. She then created a reward system based on Masashi collecting certain items, and she eventually offered a reward based around Masashi losing his virginity to her if Masashi finishes his collection. Thus boosting Masashi's motivation even further, in return, giving Asako more control over Masashi, grooming him in the process. When you look at it from a groomer perspective, Asako was the collector and Masashi was just part of her collection.
So, what does this mean exactly, well think of it like this. By making his "V-card" the ultimate prize for finishing a collection, she ensured he wasn't just thinking about sexy time, he was thinking about earning it from her. She effectively "branded" his sexuality so that it could only exist in relation to her. The reward system she made was a leash and Asako used the reward system to train Masashi like an animal. Each time he progressed, she gave him a "treat" (physical closeness, a suggestive promise) By the time he was an adult, he was so well trained that he spent 10+ years of his life performing the ultimate task: Which was finding her. Even though she was gone, the "conditioning" she installed in his brain kept him running like a clockwork toy. Scary right?
With the above in mind, Think of the ending this way instead from this viewpoint, Masashi didn't "gain" anything.
1. He spent 25% of his life finishing a task for a woman who had already discarded him.
2. When he finally finds her and says he is "marrying someone else" it feels less like a healthy step and more like a broken man trying to convince himself he’s free.
3. If Asako is a "collector" then she doesn't need to own him physically anymore, she owns his history, his trauma, and the best years of his life.
The End
Essentially, if you care enough about this story to deep dive, there isn't really a true ending, the reader decides the ending. Because if you look at it from the dark lens, the MC had no closure, and it's all a front and he's basically damaged goods. While looking at it from the light lens, he finally got closure. Now, Depending on the outcome, there are multiple different viewpoints and answers the reader can come to realize, not only from Masashi's perspective, but also from Asako's perspective.
And to answer the already answered question. Yes, yes, I did. Do you think it's normal to spend a quarter of your life playing detective, searching for a needle in a haystack, trying to find the woman you love, just to find her and end it with "I loved you" then announcing that you proposed to another woman? Just for some closure? No, no, it's not, especially when the MC spent a quarter of his life searching for her. It's not normal at all, and if you think it is, you're delusional. This story is frustrating because the way the romance played out is so damn unrealistic, but hey, i get it, it's not the point and it's just a story, right?
This story can also be viewed through a darker lens, and I wanted something a bit on the normal side because of it. You know, the chasing love, the happily ever after? The MC taking his chances proposing to Asako? The perfect remembrance for an anniversary? It's not too much to ask for, right? Is even a date too much to ask for? If you think everything ended with a true happily ever after, then, uh... reread the story and actually pay attention, because there are multiple different outlooks to multiple different situations. And there's plenty of reader discussion based around the lighter/darker tones in most, if not all, situations in this story.
Was it a good story in general? Yes, it's not bad, but not great either, it's a nice in between. All in all, decent.
The way the author presented their relationship came off as a sure thing. It was going to happen! Now, most people won't be bothered by this, but it bothers me, especially considering there was obvious romance going on between MC and FMC until she up and disappeared. And you're telling me after a lifetime pursuit of trying to find his first love, it ends with the power of friendship? Really? And he proposed to another woman? That's an outcome I never expected. It just doesn't sit right with me. At least try your chances proposing to Asako, considering the effort you put in, and the firework scene was perfect for this attempt. If MC got a yes, that would be one hell of a remembrance for an anniversary. But nope, let's just say "I loved you" and leave it at that. Is even a date too much to ask? It's so ridiculous!
Regardless of MC being 35 and Asako being, like, what? Late 40s or 50s? Maybe 60s. Using Asako's age gap is no excuse to disregard any romantic feelings between MC and Asako. The story definitely could have been a lot better. I expected way more than what we got. I'm sure we will get some side stories, but it's definitely not doing any justice in my book. It's like the author did a complete 360 on what they wanted the story to be about. Heck, MC even had her blushing at her age. It's just frustrating. It was already frustrating enough with MC playing detective gadget, trying to find his one true love. Sigh...
What we are disagreeing on is what constitutes an explanation. You are waiting for the story to pause and give you reasoning. I am telling you that the story is explaining itself through the results. When the MC "Twists the laws" in Chapter 6 or rewrites Yutia's destiny, that isn't a "hint" of something to come, that is the Law of Fate and the Law of Causality actively happening in real time.
Even with no knowledge of the laws, it's obvious something is happening because a misunderstanding has to start from something. So saying there is absolutely nothing is ridiculous because a misunderstanding would not exist without reason. When a misunderstanding is shown, there is a cause to the misunderstanding, there is an effect to the misunderstanding, and there is an outcome/change to a misunderstanding. If you are not seeing any of this, then that's a comprehension problem. The average reader is comprehending the above because it is obvious and "self explanatory" The information is there, the groundwork is done, and the results are on the page.
