I don't get what the MC is trying to accomplish here. Whats the point of killing him when the mission was called off, your group was abandoned and you have no personal beef with this guy. Even if you kill him, there is no reward and could end up dead or at least seriously injured. And if you're trying to get info out of him then why go straight for the kill?! Approaching him peacefully would probably be more effective.

This plot is so weird lol usually you want the mc to accomplish his goals but this one is so retarded. You get a cool ability and you want to get rid of it because your fake friends don't like you anymore?!
