The brain computation argument fares no better, and for a more elementary reason. You presuppose the truth of physicalism in order to dissolve the metaphysical/physical distinction, then present that dissolution as though it were a theory-neutral result. It is not. The distinction you are trying to undercut is doing the work your argument requires you to establish independently. That is question-begging, and clothing it in the language of neuroscience does not alter its logical structure.
As for your demand that faith claims must be proven unprovable before they qualify as metaphysical, this standard is simply stipulated, not derived. You have not argued for it from any recognized epistemological criterion. What you have done, whether intentionally or not, is define metaphysics out of existence by fiat and then presented that stipulation as a refutation. There is a considerable difference between those two things.
Faith addresses metaphysical questions (such as meaning, purpose, and God) that science can't answer. Flat Earth is an empirical claim that's been falsified. Faith claims aren't empirically testable. They're different types of questions. Metaphysics precedes your ability to do science because it is the assumptions that you start with before you can even observe anything. Trying to use science to refute or dismiss metaphysics is like a snake eating its own tail.
