I appreciate the input! The golem's artificial intelligence is based on several things. From elemental entities, and depending on how much the runes are locking the elementals' control over the golem. Some have the concept that someone's soul gets transferred into them, and of course, depending on how traumatic that experience was, their memory might be fragmented, foggy, or it may be intact. Some might have several souls fighting for control, like a split personality concept. Of course, the builder's experience comes into play; the more skilled they are, the more advanced the commands/intelligence can be. There are also control items like an amulet someone wears to limit the free will of the more advanced golems, and/or just straight up control them. I love the idea about the supercharge it to time travel with the recoil damage concept. The time golem isn't really seen till the end of the first arc, with the main villain being introduced. It's being flushed out in the second arc, where everyone will see it more. I did have a concept of a limiter kind of idea, but I like the precog ability build-up.

I actually am writing one! It's about a girl who is an artifact maker specializing in golem creation, a skill her dad taught her before he mysteriously died/disappeared. Season one has already been written, which introduces her and the world. She goes around helping people by creating golems of all shapes, sizes, and abilities based on the needs of the people. She also likes making intelligent artifacts, and when, on occasion, she runs across evil or misused golems or artifacts, she either tries to reprogram them or destroy them. Season one ends with her discovering an evil group waking up a very ancient city-like golem that's the height of a small mountain and sending it towards this kingdom's capital to destroy it. The golem is like a walking city itself with forges, shops, homes, barracks, and the higher up you go in the golem city, the more upper class, nobles, and then the royalty at the top. (picture Alexander from Final Fantasy) She manages to stop it in the nick of time, but falls from the top of the golem city in an epic battle, where the main head of the evil group was waiting, as the main villain disappears into a portal after their battle, and the golem city comes crashing down. The main villain group is trying to raise ancient war machines that lie dormant throughout the continent, to, of course, rule over the current kingdoms and races.
Season two is about her coming to terms with the truth about her father, her loss of friends, and the precious golems she lost at the end of season one. Emotional damage, etc. She'll fight the higher-ups and eventually the main villain of this group to end them permanently in this season. The main villain possesses two highly advanced golems: one that can time-travel and another that can create portals. One of the golems was stolen from her father. We'll see her deal with three more ancient war machines and stop some others from awaking. I have the concept of seasons three and four already, but haven't written them yet.

I wouldn't trust that goddess; she told that other hero he would be invincible, and he got killed horribly.
