I am at Chapter 19 and I think I will drop it.

The manga started out great and impactful. The world is interesting and not stereotypical and one is generally interested in the revenge plot and characters. But then maybe over 10 Chapters later we get some trash chapters.

I am literally wondering what I did just read. 10 year time skip (after we already had a 10 year time skip) while the MC seems to not have any gap in time from one scene to the next, making you wonder if the MC isn't even aware of the gap in time? Yup. A powerful force getting obliterated, while I am wondering, why they are not destroying the building inside as the building is literally the only thing keeping the enemy human forces alive? Not even mentioning the issue of MC being alive only being found out 10 years later, despite MC having a microchip planted inside him. Like, they researched the fake corpse for 10 years and never bothered to check the chip... And then the MC is turning into an edgy stereotype while the other character is an opposite stereotype to him could be interesting if MC's character didn't deteriorate before. Then some massive plot twist is revealed which honestly was quite obvious, but at the same time it was strange they made that reveal now. Right now there are plenty of questions open and now they throw another one up to the pile they won't be answering because it is too early yet. A bad choice. Also wondering if MC even realizes that he has just destroyed the only chance to see his beloved person again...did he even think about his actions? The more I think, the more issues I find...

Chapter 19 and things seem to slow down and maybe normalize, but do I even want to stick around? I am unsure, but wading up to the last chapter, Chapter 50, and hoping things get better seems like too big of a time investment. So, yeah. I think I will drop it. Huge potential as it did start off strong, but disappointed sometime later. Sadly, I cannot recommend this.

To be fair, the ex-husbands will be fine if they overcome their bad habits. That was seemingly the point, which is at least something. I was annoyed that they suddenly declared them all bad a few chapters earlier. At least they have a good chance at a happily ever after.

Honestly, I am annoyed that they suddenly make ALL the husbands out to be bad guys. I think it is fine to have the other three be fine dudes where circumstances simply led to why their marriages didn't work out. No need to come back to punch them after we had some good scenes.

I am feeling a bit irritated about the whole rumor that House Chade killed the Emperor. Mainly because no one is pointing out how incredibly stupid of an accusation that is. I mean, really? Sure, House Chade killed the old Emperor that liked them to install the Prince as the new Emperor who has been hating their guts with a hot burning passion! They literally could only lose if they did it. The only one profiting are literally every noble that hated House Chade. Also, also, why poison the cats then AFTER the Emperor died?! If the cats were an experiment to get the right poison for the Emperor, then this incident would have occurred BEFORE that! Poisoning the cats only attracts attention. It is so painfully obvious that this is all a set up by some nobles to fuck House Chade over. You have to either not know much about the circumstances or be VERY stupid to not see this!

Sorry for the rant. I hope this gets addressed in the trial. This is just so mind numbingly stupid!
