As I said in a past chapter, he didn't start over with them (he cut them off), THEY started over with him (not only do they have to patch things up on their own accord, their relationships is set back from ground zero).

I feel slightly bad for the maid, but the MC was right. As long as they're still in the cafe, they are nothing more between an idol and a fan, a maid and a customer, and he has stated that he preferred to stick to that status quo between them. Its going to be a really tough road for that maid to break the mold, sadly its even harder and tougher than Kurosaki's.
