For sure. Not many realistic barbarian manhwas out there. Especially one that depicts the struggle of accepting a religion after their beliefs have been shattered. Was really hoping to see the war with the empire as well. Maybe someone else will decide to draw this in a couple years

right right... It's clearly not earth, but Sol is definitely something like the Jewish religion, Ulgaro is similar to Valhalla, and "The Mountain Range" is something similar to indigenous American's belief. But if we had to put a cultural age on it, compared to us, it'd be around 525bc - 400bc.

If we look at our history
2000bc first iron, 1100bc iron age official
400bc crossbows (No crossbows)
525bc metal coin currency was developed

I'll summarize for you
Joshua got caught in a plot to assassinate the 3rd prince to help the 4th prince increase power. Because Joshua was able to catch one of the culprits behind the assassination, he called for a trial to punish royalty. The emperor didn't like Joshua was airing their dirty laundry so he attempted to punish Joshua for besmirching the royal name so Joshua showed he could find the hidden room without the emperor's help. While Joshua was inside the room the 4th prince escaped and we can assume was contacted by the demon to bring out the holy grail which would show the demonic energy from Joshua's spear which would give them grounds to get rid of Joshua.

While the emperor was planning dirty shit with Duke Agnus' wife, Duke Agnus' child, Joshua, was revealed to have the right to inherit the throne from his princess mother.

While Joshua is trying to escape the empire, he ends up overhearing that his friend is in trouble at the tower of trials and barrels through to get there.

Earlier in the story it was revealed that Beruberu, whatever his real name is, was the one who the elf loved and gave the tear ring to. It can be assumed that after his death, or some point in his life, he betrayed the elves which caused them to get massacred. The dragon told the surviving elf and now that elf has gone to confront Beruberu

Thinking he had a solid supporter, MC probably didn't reach out to anywhere and because of this Set could stack the deck against him to the point that it would be impossible to refute. Should he really still be upset about the Baskervilles

His bones, tendons, and muscles were destroyed only the other day. Even if he did have regen it'd still take a bit to recover. Look, his skin is already starting to look normal

the entity Beelzebub could "infinitely" copy skills. The demon sword crafted from Beelzebub reduced that ability to 3

bows (in that period) are the ultimate assassin technique. Learning the most powerful bow and sword puts him up pretty high

it's the trend of people finding heros upsetting. Why would they allow a villain to come back to disturb them 37 times when we could get an awesome blood, guts, and death scene. Lets take the US for example. They enslaved orientals in a work camp after pearl harbor. They also massacred the indigenous tribes of America. After they finished that, besides rape and torture, they pushed them out of their homes. They also stated the Vietnam war with false flags. But Americans are still proud of their country. Just saying this bc America is a total anti-hero country.

I enjoy a well thought out reply. Point taken. Usually, the reason a 20-year age gap would exist is because of stability. However, it's understandable (but unacceptable) that predation would be an occurrence, but the normal reason it happens is one side is attracted to wealth while the other side beauty. Most people who would go after 18-25 go after them for their model like bodies, not because they are immature which is not predation. Predation is the act of going after a susceptible mind aka minors, who wouldn't understand the negative impacts of their decisions. Because the brain is still developing during adolescence it is far easier to cause mental disorders which would inhibit healthy growth aka Stockholms syndrome or even brainwashing.

Btw I personally find it disgusting to be with others outside of the bracket ±4yrs

might is right. Lol. Heathans have no rights. Lol

But on a serious note, when haven't the baskervilles been painted as anti-heros (individuals who do heroic deeds in a villainous way)

The literature named The Hound of the Baskervilles. It's a story involving Sherlock Holmes investigating a mysterious demon dog that was like a curse killing off the heirs of the Baskerville family. It started with the patriarch Hugo Baskerville. In the narrative, Henry Baskerville, the official heir, goes to the Stapleton house in an attempt to lure out the "demon dog". The head of the Stapleton house, Jack Stapleton AKA Rodger Baskerville, is revealed to have attempted assassinating the competition to inherit the house. Similarly enough, the housekeeper and butler were from the family of Barrymores (married).

Thus we can conclude that this work is a made with the muse/inspiration of a Sherlock Holmes novel. Sorry, I delved into research towards literature with baskerville name to figure it out. That's why it took so long.
