Just thinking out loud there is only two reasons why a royal would try to wed a known successor candidate into the royal family. 1: to restrict the family action, 2: to bolster their power. Would it not be beneficial to wed ML to someone whom he clearly likes who is also royalty? Especially since it puts them under control by not being of "pure blood"?

To sum this blunder up art decided that he would fast forward the timeline of ship creation in exchange for a protection amulet for mom and sis not knowing 1 how strong the enemy was ("only people with insideous plans would attempt to hide there spying") 2 the enemy was currently spying for at least 30 years (goodsky {double agent} was with varion as a young adult) 3 the enemy was already deeply rooted in the countries as spies (control over instructors, nobles, and royalty). Realistically art's reasons were sound if the facts were correct and assuming a country who never preformed counter surveillance could successfully pull it off, they would have been ahead in the war. It also irks me there was no self destruct for ship engine to stop enemies from copying secret technology, considering it WAS heading into enemy waters. So, is it REALLY art's fault?

kinda but there are few whose main character will die in the future from poisoning, and only a handful of ones about assassination. You kind of have to take it for what it is. if it was just about the demonic, orthodox, unorthodox, or solo the story would be 100 chpt or unreasonably repeat itself over and over, and those are a dime a dozen. At least with hidden 4th party it keeps a thrill of who will be manipulated next rather than MC barely survives every fight or just too OP repeating same trope until end. plus character building from brother thought to be dead. of course he'd change
