I'm paranoid about getting up to a higher level only to plummet down with each successive failure.

There is some charm to more historically accurate weapons, especially when it comes to sword guards that aren't likely to stab or shred your hands as you grip the weapon.

But sometimes I just want a wacky but cool weapon, like an axe that's also a gun...and also a knife.

IIRC, the people doing the Gatcha thought he cheated and this guy was someone they hired to get the stuff he won back. Been so long, I barely remember those details. I'd have to go back and reread it, but I'm not in the mood when it'll take another 6+ months for this one to update and I'd probably need another read over again.

So, new thing learned: you still have 5 chances each day to level up. But each try that doesn't succeed has the option of levelling you down. So if RNG hates you, you could be at level 74 or higher and drop 5 levels in a single day. You'll never get lower than Level 69, but that could be the breaking point for a lot of people.

RNG is gonna be a nightmare if every level past 70 you fail to level up will require you tossing a coin to determine if you level down or not. Assuming that the Mystery Box doesn't shut off the +1 Level reward around this point, that'd be a very slow route to get higher. But otherwise you could be who knows how high up only to see yourself plummet back down to Level 69.

That's freaking bull, man. You'd have better luck trying your odds through Level Ups in the Mystery Box than try this. The amount of luck working against you trying to get up to 80 is insane.

Well the focus WAS supposed to be on Harold and Elbaf. We already have the gist of God Valley's history from Kuma's flashback, so we might not get more details. Or we might get those details further down the line (possibly in relation to Garling, Shamrock, Shanks, or someone else).

From what I remember, he tried making the quest conditions to be killing a lot of goblins in a short amount of time but that didn't work. Then he kept trying to find out if money would work, but he kept getting "insufficient funds" errors, and it was only after that giant monster was on the warpath to the apartment that he was able to giver her a quest that let her son revive for a day for taking it out.

Didn't the bear-woman's kid die outside his territory? He was able to bring him back to life, but he had to constantly play with the parameters until he found a quest that allowed him to offer it as a reward (for 24 hours at least).

That's better luck than I've had. I've only recently been able to get back up to 999+ points after going max odds 3-5 times to get a level up and barely get any points out of the boxes.

You're more likely to get 20 points or nothing compared to getting constant 50s and 100s, nevermind the free +1 Level.

Starting at 60, the odds of levelling are 5% for 10 points, 15% for 50, and 30% for 80. Unless RNG absolutely loves you between that and Mystery Box rewards, its very likely you'll begin running out of points before hitting 70.

I think I was only 1 day behind the levels being implemented, and so far only one day where I didn't level up after 5 tries. At this point, I'm pretty much stuck below 1000 points. i don't comment all that often to get those 30 points per hour, and Im often drawing nothing with the Mystery Box.
