Nothing you said contradicts what I said. Aokiji clearly has a very pained face as he's freezing Saul. He wasn't thrilled about any of the things happening on Ohara. He might have just left him there. Ohara sank into the sea and was engulfed in flames. There are any number of ways Saul could have thawed before freezing to death. Aokiji might not even know that Saul survived. Even if he let Saul live intentionally he was under no obligation to tell Robin about it. He's always shown as a very aloof kind of guy. It might not even occur to him that she deserves to know.

Can anybody tell me a legit reason why Saul being alive somehow doesn't make any sense? Cause I can think of a lot of different scenarios on how he could have survived.

I disagree on that. Aokiji didn't wanna kill his friend. We just see him freeze. We don't know how long Saul was in that state. Also, giants might be very resistant to hypothermia, we don't know... and wtf do you mean that Egghead was a letdown? No it wasn't.
