So, the thing is... the plot established thus far is kinda spiraling in on itself. Ms. Main Character is pretty stupid but that's not the problem. The problem is that where do we go from here? This is a completed work and it ends at chapter 100, so where are we going from here?

I gotta say, she is slower than all other villainesses so far. 6 years and you've VASTLY changed the world to a drastic degree that it is unrecognizable... and you're still trying to hold onto the original plot? Lady... lady... plz...

You gotta keep in mind: chapter 3.
The person in Blanche is just a normal person. Sure, she's driven to extremes to survive but... she is just a normal person. There's a limit and well, she is well over it but there is one reason why we can accept that -> to her, this world is just a game. She doesn't really see these people as real living human beings, so she can dispose of them without worrying about it... Even then, there is a limit, again.

Poor kid.

Also, she makes no sense. We know why she's acting like this since we can see her train of thought. No one else does so the way she's acting makes zero sense. She obviously has a soft spot for him, tolerates him far beyond what anyone else would get away with, etc -> and then she does this.

Classic Villainess trope of "oh no, this isn't how it's supposed to go in the original story, so I have to reject it."

Lady, and this applies to all them villainess ladies:

If the original story mattered, you'd be dead! So who cares about it! DO WHAT YOU WANT!

You seem impatient... I get it. If this got regular updates, I wouldn't be upset that they're taking time to establish stuff rather than give a two sentence summary... sigh, what can ya do?

Well, PingPing is guilty of propagating the myth that a diamond ring has any value. It's less valuable than human feces because you can use at the very least use human feces as fertilizer - low quality fertilizer, yes, but that is still has some value.
Diamonds are entirely worthless and anyone who believes otherwise is just a victim of propaganda that's only around a century old.

You'll find it at Wuxia World: https://www.wuxiaworld.com/novel/overgeared

Sadly, around two years ago, they updated their site to forcefully monetize it. I only stuck with them for Overgeared because of it and refused to try reading any other works.
You gotta: make an account -> and claim the free 100 points by checking in daily (it isn't on cooldown, but a reset time, so just claim it once a day whenever you remember).
You'll get to unlock one free chapter every 23 hours, and this IS on cooldown, so make sure you don't forget.

You can circumvent this whole stupid points system by just paying money. How much? ~$6 a month I think? It's the "Champion" system which I never touched.

Not that I'm against paying for stuff, but I was caught up to the ~1650 chapters before this monetization system kicked in, so I didn't feel like it was worth it to pay money month after month for two years as the novel updated 4 chapters a week for ~400 chapters left - which I can always just unlock with the daily unlock.

You will learn how the situation came to be.

I feel that there is one detail that stands out: when Mr. Main Character tried... something along the lines of creating life but failed (trying not to spoil here)-> that restriction nullifies this prequel's legitimacy.

Plot-twist: it's actually 2020 and he's just staying at home all day to flatten the curve during a pandemic. He's more valuable to humanity than all those anti-vax flat-earthers.

Honestly, the concept of "only the richest of the rich people will survive" is flawed because those lazy gits would never ever put in any effort. They've spent their entire lives living off of the hard work of their ancestors, having everything handed to them; reaping all the benefits without any risks -> and you expect them to survive if they, alone, are left? They'd kill each other and entirely go extinct before putting in any real work - the planet didn't need to kill them at all.

This is the most popular part, but I prefer Parts 2 and 7 over it.

Still, it is the most popular part because it does a lot of things and does them well. To this day, Araki's works have created so many memes... to many more in part 9!

Doesn't matter how hard you try, you'll never see the ending coming.
Do recommend but take caution if you don't often read tragedy works.

Also, read the prequel first.

Also also, did they ever make a sequel to this?

A tragedy manga that actually pulls off the tragedy without being too overbearing. I do recommend it and I also recommend that you take caution if you plan to read this without ever reading tragedy works before.

Is this a Villainess work? If so, then this was my first Villainess work and it practically sold me on the entire genre.

Seriously, I came across it, it was completed, I gave it a chance, kept reading and I loved it. It's not too long and it's just brilliant. Do recommend.

If you like the Breaker, then you'll like this. The author is unmistakable and he brings with him the fine art, world building and plot that he can execute pretty well.

I like Trinity Wonder more than this and there were times where I was kinda disappointed with the main characters - but not due to comedy reasons. You know when a character is stupider than usual due to comedy? That isn't the case - the disappointment I had is a rare moment where it isn't due to stupid comedy. It makes sense but ya know, that checks out.

Still, I do recommend it as it comes with nice art, good world building, well put-together characters and stuff.
