They could reveal a Use Limit, OR a Hard counter power that prevents revival or negates healing, or he could come across a species it just outright doesn't work on, or if you want to go meta have a god intervene and nerf him, or introduce a powerful church that can co-opt or siphon his powers, non of these are particularly original or clean as solutions but it's something.

It seems we agree on the problem this series has but we have opposing solutions, my solution is reintroduce death as a stake- mainly because I don't think this author is competent enough to use other things as the stake successfully, while yours seems to be get a better writer, which honestly would be ideal but I always try to work with what I have.

The main reason I want death as stakes is because there is quite literally no other stakes in this series. they Don't really commit enough to any emotional stakes for that to be the stakes, they don't commit to really any politics beyond surface level stuff, it's not really a matter of relationships changing or anything being the stakes, the main character barely does s*** outside of resurrecting people and wandering around at least if he had a limitation on his s*** he would have to be proactive for once, the series is near completely stagnant water and death would at least be a stone in the path of some of the gentle flow that something might ripple off of, I don't want death as a consequence I would honestly rather have death as any sort of driving factor in this because then maybe I could care about anything that's happening. why does it matter that he's kidnapped he's immortal he can literally let them kill him and then just leave when they bury him, why does anybody in his squad care: life death and time are essentially meaningless to them now since they having an immortal homie that can just bring them back at any time they don't even really do anything in the outside world for time passing to be a big loss to them, I wouldn't mind if they would at least pretend like the reset button wasn't there all the time. Dragon Ball has the dragon balls but they give those limitations to a degree and they at least act like they might not use them every single time so that it feels like something matters even when it really doesn't, my point is you're right in general more Series should look at death as a thing that could happen but not necessarily the consequence or the main driving force, but for this specific series I think it could only be a benefit to give Death even the slightest bit of reverence, or failing that stop trying to be an action series and just to be a comedy lean in on the frivolty of life, play with the concepts even - God do something.

On the one hand you're mostly right, but some writers can juggle an overpowered protagonist and a good story it's just not very common that you get both at once. Like the way this series is kind of doing it which is "he's physically overpowered but he is to a degree emotionally stunted." Granted the series that best delivered that would probably be one punch man or mob psycho both in very specific different ways, but I appreciate that this series is at least trying cuz God knows most Isekai just don't, no Chinese series ever does it really, and as it pops up more and more in Korean series it's becoming less common to put any effort into making the overpoweredness fun or an acknowledged thing that has a balance in the story with something else.

I do love that in every series The heavenly demon has one of three modes, you get "finally someone I can throw hands with properly", you get "of course I did it I'm FUCKIN EVIL!", or you get"yeeeeah... got to protect my people but I want to see where this goes...", or some combination of the three and occasionally very rarely you get the hidden forth One " I'm just a respectful administrator my guy, yeah I could kill a 100,000 people wIth one word so what, I'VE GOT TO MANAGE CROPS AND ALLIANCES!"

I think they have a problem with it because he's male, but I personally prefer the long hair because otherwise he'd have the short black crop with bangs every single Korean ( and like 3/4 of Isekai) protagonist has.

I would say it's both odds and frequency, cuz phrases like that refer to the frequency of the occurrence and in doing so layout the odds of its unlikeleness, it's like how people will say a "once in a generation" talent is on a basketball team but then going to describe every member of the team like that, it's both for reflection of how unlikely it is for someone to be that level as well as a statement of how often someone is that level, but above all of that you could just see it as hyperbole.

It really is hard to care about any consequences in this series when they expressly bring up the fact that death literally doesn't matter, like ANY limitation on the main characters ability to resurrect the Dead would bring stakes back but...nah

"Yuji Ali" really made me appreciate that my man really do just be boxing people, no flashy moves no beams no teleporting just straight scrapping.

Okay basically okkotsu can use the ghost girl (ritsu) to copy powers from other people for a limited time, and anytime they killed anyone strong they took the body so that he could copy their powers if he needed to, and when gojo died they took and mended the body, so that Okkotsu could copy kenjaku's (guy that died fighting the comedian/technically the main villain) ability to swap bodies, he used the ability to take Gojo's body after he died, both to prevent himself from dying and to use the the techniques that are specific to gojo's body, this allows him to both fight on near even footing with Sukuna and use his own abilities simultaneously.
Previous to that buff dude with one hand has his ability "Boogie Woogie" that lets him teleport two separate people into each other's places within a certain rhythm initially based on clapping, after losing your hand he used a binding vow(a sort of soul contract) to replace the activating condition with the clanging of that instrument he attached to his hand, this allowed him to teleport people a lot more quickly which in coordination with Yuji, gave them the upper hand in the fight. This improved ability also allowed him to teleport all of the people involved in the fight that would not survive the explosion sukuna caused out swapping them out for Crows, from the girl with the bangs, ability.

He also just got the information about the two missing people that are related to the thing they were talking about, which confirms in part his suspicions.

On the one hand-human head and breasts, on the other hand - horse Ass and pussy, now some men will see that as a positive...I do not believe I am one of them.

I've been wondering this since I first saw them... How are those centaurs putting the leather on the horse halves of the body? do they have zippers I can't see? they have all four sleeves, the leather seems form-fitting too there's no way that smells good are they using shoe horns of some type? Now you would think putting clothes on the horse half is better than just walking around with the naked lower half and not acknowledging that genitals are there, but I'd argue it's much worse because now I know for CERTAIN the genitals are there.

I think it's a phrase that is more statistical than literal, it's like having two people in one population of 1 million people win a lottery that has an odds of one-in-1 million people winning, it doesn't change the odds.
