Something about this whole situation just feels really shitty, like none of the conclusion of the last Arc felt satisfying and it feels like the author's speed running aftercare so they can get to the next Arc, and it probably doesn't help that everyone's kind of really casual about s*** that's supposed to be like big Revelations and stuff it makes every reveal seem meaningless since no one seems to give a s***.

I really hope this gets better because I've heard good things, but this first chapter was... not very good, I expected the cliches but a lot of people are just speaking in exposition, if it makes all the dialogue off putting.

Her mother seems to have a clinical problem with not explaining anything that she needs to know and just forgetting vital information.

If they could market it to fujoshis like that "vs. Bl world" series does with its visuals that would be one thing, but asking the entire harem viewing public to be on board with the series that actively parodies and clowns on every aspect of the genre is I guess too much to ask of the Japanese manga industry at Large. Shame though, this unhinged homosexual gremlin is one of my favorite harem protagonist.

I think what muddy's the water here though is that the doctor said she did, and no one questioned the doctor's word on this matter which makes it seem like she absolutely does, this combined with the fact that she very much behaves a bit like a child in her decision making, or the fact that her dying words are basically "it feels good to know so much stuff thank you" whether it be story constraints or time constraints they don't establish what her actual mental capacity is in a clear enough way and it makes the relationship seem weird whenever they bring it up as a result.
