I don't think so. If we look at the other members of the og team, they don't all seem that special. The top three of the current gen would even match, if not surpass some of them in terms of power/ability. They were likely not just strong, but also the only ones crazy enough to follow Seo. You also gotta take into account the difference of facing monsters vs. humans. Like going from Ai to actual pvp in games.
