The way i see it playing out is to oppose the current orthodox sects. His position in his past life has been replaced by someone with clear bad intentions, however it would be hard for him to oppose it without a strong standing. However going against them may make others see him as evil or demonic. At least thats what i think

yeah what was he meant to do. He was simply strong. Keeping others ambitions in check was the correct thing for him to do as the only ones who should've feared him were those who were up to no good.

I'm pretty sure its not the kids dad. The haircut is similar but seems more like the kids face and appearance. I think he simply grew up and began letting people pay to use Shiro as we see him having money struggles. His father also does his best to make Shiro out to be nothing more than a pet so he probably grew up to believe so as well.

See i know hes aura farming rn. But when theres a big dangerous attack, and you can literally fly with a movement speed buff. Thats the thing about fiction, If you like a kind of fiction just enjoy it and move on. Trying to bring irl morals into something like this just ends up in completely retarded arguments that benefit no one. If everyone could just learn to keep their values to themselves and stop reading when they don't like something the world would be a better place. Separate fiction from reality and everyone would live a happy life
