I get why Seth protected Piodon but man I’d if he’d weighed the good vs the bad I’d think he’d have been better off learning from his other brothers.

I love how Andreas/Makoto always develops each chapter in both a meaningful way and necessarily for the plot. I’m so use to seeing authors MC just get power ups for the convenience of the situation but here Andreas theorizes, attempts and with some effort & experience from looping improves his light magic. Probably my favorite Mahwa MC so far~😌

Because in actuality his giant is his strongest weapon. He usually uses it for surprise attacks like just now and to the degree of it being fatal💀if not dodged or blocked.

Plus his target is the dragon’s core so if he can get 2 birds with 1 stone~😏

The combination skills were cool. Basically it’s compound skills. Kinda wish the author would stop trying to make Kim appear as some kind of underdog when he’s clearly racked up enough merits to be extraordinary, a threat, and from the perspective of other characters always in the right place.

Having an overpowered MC is fine but the facade kinda stops after you take down big names.

Strangely enough there’s no one on his level(yet). Like there’s no training arc for someone like that. Only way to match him is to sudden near death power up~👀

I skimmed a lot of details so believe this is the best I could summarize~😅 There’s stuff like distrust among the Bome Soldiers & Inquisitors, The discourse of the Infected, personal connections that were made in between events, and Grimm’s personal agenda.

For a recap: Seth and his friends were whisked away to the Bome Kingdom by a Domitor Sorcerer who has a grudge against Seth for his involvement with the sorcerer Hameline’s Death in Rumble Town.

Doc who was separated from Seth and his friends rescued them from the Domitor Sorcerer but in doing so were noticed by the Inquisition leaving Seth to defend while everyone else got stuck inside Yaga’s Cauldron that was shrinking due to the Silver Powder the Inquisitor Squires used that nullifies Fantasia/Magic.

To prevent themselves from being crushed by Yaga’s Cauldron Ocoho used her “Gysoni” spell (Links the users senses & Mind) on an unwilling Melie to seal them in paper to which we learn of her past trauma & multiple personalities.

Meanwhile Seth was still fighting off the Inquisition and was eventually captured but was saved by Grimm who we learned has a connection to the Domitor Sorcerers. Planning to turn Seth over to the Domitor Sorcerers Seth was saved through the interference of Piodon & Dibal and meets up with his friends who were rescued from the paper seal but were caught up in a free for all between Inquisitors & Domitors.

Due to the distrust created from Ocoho forcing Melie and reliving the trauma Melie went separate ways with the Domitor Sorcerers for but returned later and the sorcerer that had brought them to Bome (named Lupa) formed a truce with Seth & his friends to stop the Domitors plan that involved more than just wiping out the Inquisitors.

Lastly Seth felt being the center of all the problems asked Dibal to help him reach out to Piodon in the Shaman Plane/SIDH/or O.S. to learn more about himself and his brothers which is happening right now this chapter~😮‍💨

So in terms of defense Kanoh has formless & a good amount of endurance. For the duration of Kengan series I don’t believe we’ve seen Kaolan on the receiving end of a match~🤔 His greatest strength is his offense and I’m not saying he’s a glass cannon it’s just a majority of his opponents are specialists with a variety of techniques! Simplicity is effective but limiting.

This is kinda anticlimactic if this is all we get from Etra’s arc~😔 We still have the the competition between her and Kaiser but I’m still questioning Etra’s knowledge of Magic Theory since all we learned this chapter is her mastery of Magic Efficiency like Aoko Aozaki from ”Mahoutsukai no Yoru”.

Yeah there are signs of Etra being a genius but I kinda want to see interactions between her and Meryl similar to Elsa & Regina being Swordmasters~👀

Well..Kaiser did say she hates the mundane and she’s had bad experiences with normal people so I can see Etra going astray if she was taking advantage of for her talent, isolated for the gap between peers, and/or not finding a challenge she couldn’t overcome. 🤔
