Master Piece. And although I won't rate it as high as I did in the past, it is still very much one of better ones out there.

I had the second volume of this and so I read the whole thing. It is bit of a mess, so yeah. Basically MC and her friends are high/middle schooler who gain power by some accident. After messing around with their powers, they find someone whose power is dangerous and ambitious and in the end they clash, and... the end. I don't even know/ remember now what really attracted me to this, the art is decent but simple, but it's defnitely not bad. Probably the school dynamics is what did it for me. Love triangles, sport rivalries, school clubs, all that. It's kinda hilarious watching them going at it daily. Good read if got time and nothing to do. At around 50 chapters, it's right length for light read.

Very enjoyable story that delves into the way of manga writing. What I love about this is how they flesh out ideas for stories and actually incorporate them as pseudo works for the characters, its incredible. Each ones they did maybe a bonafide titles on their own. Aprt from that, it also introduces me into the dynamics of manga creation, the importance of editor, and their struggles. Also again Obata's art is great here, Mashiro and Miho's relationship was really cute and it kinda makes me want to cheer them on. One of most satisfying manga I have ever read. Totally recommended.

Love how it makes hype out of go matches. Props to the authors to actually create a series based on go games, really case where I have no idea story about people playing go can be interested, because to this day, I don't actually understand the game aprt from some basic rules. It is a testament to the series quality that it invokes interest in the game on its reader. It helps that Takeshi Obata draws this (Death Note), but the story has heart too, and the idea of some super ghost-teacher is something that I have also seen in other newer stories, well it may not be the first one to do it, but definitely played part popularizing the troupe. Shonen reader definitely should read this, no matter what era.

It feels generic after a while and repetitive. It feels like it goes too long for its own good tbh. I haven't looked at lookism, so idk how it compares, but this is basically you have a hyped enemy, MC somehow find way to beat him by ways of either his quest items or some kind of novelty abilities, rinse and repeat. Not overly bad, but not very enjoyable expecially after reading it after a while.

This author is notorious for unfinished work and Freezing is not an exception. But I have to say I love it when it started, the girls are pretty, and they fight a lot lol. Can't hope for much more than fan service here though.

I like the theme in this one about female warriors against monsters, and the art is good. The gore is not too over the top, but it is enough to make you feel the sense of jeopardy the warriors face in battles. MC here is not strong by nature, but her potential is boosted by particular style of fight that is affected by her past. I like the setting a lot, it never makes very sudden power-spike, but there's clearly sense that the warriors (especially MC's core group) are getting stronger through what they experienced. Probably the only thing that is not is the final battle, but personally I love it most, because it gives the proper conclusion and answer to MC's series long purpose and quest.

Given its popularity, there's not much I want to add tbh. It's as good as it gets, the raw idea is hilarious and Murata adds flair to it with his art. One thing I really like about this is how good Murata makes the females because in the original they would look .... basic. Still my advice is, if you like this, don't bother seeking more from ONE's version. Stick with this, no matter how slow the update is. Murata might add things here and there to the original, but the backbone is still very much there. Reading ONE's though has kinda makes me want to skip all the filler lol, so there's that.

The true masterpiece that birthed Murata's version. Murata's version started faithful to this, until it ever so slightly differ (or I should say branching out), starting from the Monster Association Arc. But while it lacks the fineness of Murata's art, it is afterall the backbone of Saitama's story. Murata, for his credit, didn't change (for what I read by passing and see from anime) One's original's so if one come here to seek more than what Murata's version, they should still be able to enjoy it.

However reading this risks your enjoying Murata's version a bit less, because personally I become bored of his filler after doing so, so read this at your own discretion. Some of Murata's filler ends up canon (like the fighter guy that fight Saitama in the final of tournament arc, also initial design of Drive Knight's power) although it could have been planned between One and him in advance.

Still, this is still very much a masterpiece because of its ideas and execution is perfect. And the way Saitama just punches everything to oblivion kinda fit the whole environment. One hits his gag here perfectly and efficiently, idk I can't call this anything but masterpiece. But again, if you enjoy Murata's version, maybe best stick with that.

I think the way this is packed is very nice. It has rather clear idea, from start MC has to fulfill 4 main objectives to make sure he can return to his own body, and it stick to that premise. It's not overly long at 55 chapters too, which helps to prevent burn out of having to follow similar premises for hundreds of chapters. I love everything about this manhwa, the art, the story (comedy is great, and plot is rather simple), and the ending is fine as well. It may not be a masterpiece, but certainly enjoyable. 10/10 gonna recommend it.

I mean Outaro's monologue was so wholesome few chapters back but now we're back to more familiar territory. Not that I'm complaining. It doesn't look like it's ending anytime soon and I'm fine with that.

love the post apocalyptic theme and its the author of Basara. I think it depicts very well the terror of the world after apocalypse and the struggles, not just with nature, but also with fellow survivors. One of best post-apocalyptic story around tbh.

Probably only one of few Shoujo titles I actually read, and definitely one of the best. Art maybe off-putting at times, but story definitely good. In a post apocalyptic world where humanity's advanced technology were no more, they were vying for supremacy with swords and bows. Pretty much the whole story. If you can tolerate the art, it can be very enjoyable read.

I didn't know that it was adaptation, the way its characters look similar to FMA's made me thought they were the mangaka's original work. I guess it does explain the intricacy of kingdom dynamics: politics, wars, society, and all. I too kinda enjoying it, but the update, with one chapter per month, feels really slow once you've caught up.

I followed this from since its release basically, and gradually it grows in me. I find familiarity in its telling of rakugo with that from how Bakuman tells story-within-story, but it's also different because we are also told the actual story of the rakugo here (although tbf since I'm no Japanese culture expert, there could be some deviations here and there), which actually is an added charm. The way the art differs from Rakugo and to the 'real world' is also very refreshing. You can easily tell when it is telling rakugo or the rakugoka's life story. And if you think rakugo story will be boring because it's an age old story, well you need to see this first. The pacing is rather slow but there's clear growth and goals that FMC strife for. Definitely reccomended.

It tackles the issue of domestic abuse and, as someone who has seen quite some cases of those in other medias, I say it's pretty realistic. I really hope nobody would end up in situation like FMC did. I however think MC is bit too good here, although perhaps given the trauma FMC had, it would be better that way? Idk. He certainly takes her situation seriously and have took steps for her safety and well-being, but part I can't readily accept is how resistant he is to her seductions. Art-wise it's great, honestly I will keep checking this even if just for the fan-service.

I'm glad the scanlator added the extra bit about XuJini. So in the end she could end up with Shian's friend after all. Personally I think it would be more romantic that way, for a woman like XuJin no man would be perfect, but someone who is more laidback maybe more suitable for her.

I didn't know it has two ends, but I feel like the ending we've got is fine. tbh the whole story feels like a journey through time, just as life is. We never got to stop in a moment, and ever so slowly everything changes, but life is beautiful that way. Neither XuQing nor JiangHe are perfect individuals, but they accepted each other and make most of their relationship. I have never been in one tbh, but I enjoy every bit of this story. And from their relationship onto their second generation, I feel that everyone has their own story to tell. Not everyone got a partner from 1000 years back, but every couple can be happy in their own way. And thus, I wish for everyone who follow this journey all the way to the end happiness as well.

well give it to Murata to turn One's abstract female template into hot woman. I'm still amazed at how hot he made Fubuki and Tatsumaki. He did splendidly for Webisaga here too. I'm not big fan of his filler, but I can't hate his art.

This is the case where I didn't think it would be interesting, but it did. The gag is simple, a girl whose face is not seem, but only by MC, but it somehow works like a charm. There's certain allure in MC's sincere effort to see the girl's face, and ofc the author wouldn't allow him to succeed, until maybe the end. I however kinda feel mixed feeling of probably horror or tragedy here behind the face, but anyway I think it's kinda cute.
