not only does he make and have great connections, he uses them to help his other connections get stronger. that's a damn good skill if ever I've seen one.

just read up to chapter 34. in a word, fantastic. the characters are well fleshed out and feel relatable and the plot is both interesting and captivating, with enough humor to keep things from getting too serious. exactly the kind of work I love.

okay, so two things. First, yay its back. Second, I'm not sure how i feel about the new art style. It's not bad per say, just not what I've come to expect from this series.

my only guess is that the new translator is treating "hunter" like an honorific and thus placing it after the name. still dumb though. if your starting a translation job midway through a series, go back and check the previous translators work to prevent continuity mistakes like this.

as much as this plotline was dragged out far far too much, i think it was resolved quite nicely. if only it could've been resolved 15-20 chapters ago.

agreed, humans suck. however, no matter how infinitesimally small it is, we all have the ability and potential to become better. so we should never stop trying.

yes, but that's only if this is the only entrance, the kobolds have been digging here for quite a while, so who know if they've dug another escape tunnel or something. also, given the depth of the tunnel the air quality down there can't be very good and the ventilation should be even worse. if it was our world instead of a fantasy they'd probably have already suffocated.

if you thought this was dragged out then you'd hate the novel. it goes into far more detail than this.

my guess, she gets her power and life force from Pure/innocent "Love". so by "clean" she means naïve. the weird time inconsistency is happening because she's somehow wiping his memories whenever something happens that would "corrupt" him. so his grasp on the passage of time has slipped. the only times its shown that his mentality has grown was when the two of them were separated. because of this quiet "corruption" his innocent "love" is no longer innocent and that's what's causing her slow deterioration.

It’s been so long I’ve genuinely lost the plot. The question is, is this series really worth rereading.

Thats a different world and a different contract though, we don’t know the specifics of how this particular contract works.
