My best guess is that after being imprisoned Daven demonized somehow(likely all the hate and frustration of finally winning only to be stabbed in the back and declared a traitor or someone corrupted him) and when Arslan “killed” him he split the demonized and the still human bits trying to save Davens soul. The human part is what was reincarnated as the MC and the demonized bit is what became Demon Daven.

She should work to get a knights title. with her combat prowess it should be fairly easy. and Dame Nicky sounds so much better.

As far as runes relating to elements, yes some of them do and those fit quite well. For example Kenaz (ᚲ) and Laguz (ᛚ) are the runes of fire and water respectfully and so are accurate as shown.

Raidho (ᚱ), while not specifically representing wind, does represent travel, movement, and journeys, so i can see how that could be interpreted as "wind".

Likewise, Ingwaz (ᛝ), is the rune of fertility, potential, and growth, and is also called "The Seed", so nature or wood is fitting. Berkano (ᛒ), also represents fertility and growth, but more in the human sense(the rune itself representing a pregnant woman). So, while a stretch, the term "born from the earth" is a thing so, sure I guess. Though I feel Hagalaz (ᚺ), the rune of obstruction, impedence, and natural forces would work better. being something like a roadblock, or a rock in the path.

Ansuz (ᚨ) is not the rune of light. It is the rune of speech and/or communion. The rune of light would be Dagaz (ᛞ), or arguably Sowilo (ᛋ) the sun rune. although here they used Sowilo for lightning, and while there is no lightning rune specifically, Thurisaz (ᚦ), which is closely connected to Thor, would've worked better.

Moving on, Eihwaz (ᛇ) represents the Yew tree, known for its longevity and resilience, or more loosely it represents wisdom and endurance. Have no clue how that relates to darkness or whatever its trying to show here. Uruz (ᚢ) might be a better choice representing strength and raw power which can become dangerous if left uncontrolled(much like dark magic in most fantasy settings).

Finally, my favorite rune, Naudhiz (ᚾ), the rune of need, constraint, and resilience. Representing the struggles and hardships of life and the strength needed to overcome them. i have no clue how that translates into what appears to be psychic power or the like. the far better option would be Perthro (ᛈ) the rune of fate, mystery, and the unknown. It would far better at representing an invisible force like psychic power.


All of this comes from my own knowledge and interpretations so if anybody sees anything incorrect please let me know. I always love to learn more about the Elder Futhark runes.
