god this series is so good. man just lost his sword, his most trusted partner since the beginning, and instead of just replacing it like any other series, he's actually mourning its loss like a true knight. And as the other guy said there are many sharp, shiny, or sturdy swords out there, but none of them will ever be that sword again.

Well Heimdall is quite laterally a god while these guys are still just students, not even professionals with a ranking yet. So, aside from the MC, several levels apart seems more accurate.

Instead she should have taught them stuff that was almost right or not quite effective in order to weaken them all for future conflicts. Methinks there's gonna be some change of heart/sad backstory by the end of this fight.

Seeing as the anime was just released I thought I'd check this series out.

Seeing as most of the other comments are dumping on this series without explanation I thought I should clarify.

The story itself isn't bad, although a bit simple. However, this telling of it is kinda ass. The pacing is insanely fast and the translation work is subpar. So while you get the basic idea of what's happening, you don't really get a good experience. It honestly feels to me like the author is constantly running from the axe that isn't really there.

All in all, if you can find the web novel somewhere I'd recommend reading it instead. Also, please come back and let me know where you found it so I can read it myself.

I'm pretty sure that was a different series. this is the one where the black hared knight broke the enslavement brainwashing on his people(homunculi(artificial humans)) and started a rebellion killing off her whole family save for her and one of her bitch sisters, only for said bitch sister to trick her into killing herself so black haired guy sent her back in time to hopefully make things right.
