yes, if you are talking about the biological age of a person but on a timeline-wise counting of age he would be 80 years old, like saying a dead person would be 150 years old by now if he would still live

it does help in that way, but doesnt really say anything about the character, which is what you want when designing one. you can definitly give a character recognizeable features without making him overly handsome or ugly, e.g. Saitam from One Punch Man
