👍 agree, the author trying to make the whole thing to prolonged the hero suffering but the way author did it, is just unpleasant, the major plot is the hero suffering from mc success so author purposely letting hero run free so he can keep the plot going longer and expecting the reader to cry tears of joy everytime hero suffering while completely ignoring the victims girls and making mc and absolute bafoon who don't think about anything and no objective

Yeah, the fact he don't even bother to research how to solve the mind control issue and just go wandering aimlessly is piss me off

And mc don't bother to actually save the girls that being mind control by the hero, even tho he is already aware of everything

I think Hiro mean he won't go do something obviously dangerous and will retreat before the situation get to dangerous categories and Hiro will advice Serena to retreat when Hiro think the situation is actually dangerous and want Serena to follow his advice rather than being hero, Hiro will fight putting his life on the line cuz it's part of the job but he won't join an obvious fight where he will die
