i don't read murim/martial arts because i tried it once and never understood anything about the setting, like what the fuck is a heavenly demon? and why is he a human? why does he have a cult? and the cult is so big it can be considered a whole religion, and they never explain any of that, so i never bothered but i heard so many good stuff about this one and thought i'd give it a shot turns out its different from all the other ones cuz the heavenly demon is here but he isn't in the pain to understand setting, i fucking dig it

i see, i have an interest in ww1 and ww2 but you wont find something like that in manga or manhwa the closest thing i got was 'saga of tanya the evil' which was a fantasy, i get japanese people don't want you to remember what their country did in ww2, but atleast once in a while won't hurt

honestly manga authors these days are cucks, you really have to dig in mountains of shit to find something remotely good, and manhwas are all suffering from the 'solo levelling syndrome' and many of them cant even do it right, the best manhwa i've ever read was easily 'the boxer', manhuas are just way too long for my taste i simply am not reading 700 chapters (not that i've ever tried to do so)

i highly doubt that he's getting stacks of money for this, but this is what the people want these days mindless action with no story, or softcore porn with no story, take my hero academy as an example, shit story, shit mc, only fight scenes

see, i knew we could see eye to eye on this, its just the author's attempt to make such a character, he doesn't have the experience or knowledge to do so, a good example of a competent author who did this trope right is "Rikudou".
