First 30-40 chapters were kinda lacking, they lacked world building (what is actually justified with very intensive action) and atmosphere in the party was kinda unnatural? I guess it was also justified for the clear gap in hierarchy between characters, but around chap30 brazen loli joins and loosen up the crew ;p
And nice world building comes... and elfs... and tragedies...

So around ch150 we slowly start to see some ignition of romance (with very far perspective) and harbinger of future rivalry, but generally quite far from being romance genre.
I would say it's wholesome, especially that most of girls have their own personal tastes and stories (or just to busy for love), and don't drool over mc, so refreshing, wholesome indeed <3

Hopefully author will keep it and won't turn it into harem >.<

I was writing about primitive society, I just want to clarify, it would be idiotic to categorize someone as primitive just because he doesn't know some not popular words, but there is a big difference when in one society 40% of people don't know such a word, and when 90% don't know.
