Yeah his current situation of a misfire and a jam is pretty rare not impossible but darn rare , what should have happened is misfire (click) pull the bolt back squib is ejected and bolt locks open ready for a fresh loaded mag to be cycled in . that would take probably 3 more frames to draw in and not everybody would get what just happened with the gun ejecting a unfired round .

Some interesting character development here , big bully dude has gone straight up full self aware psycho , thats truly wack ! and Mena is about asTsundere as it gets even leaning into the Yandere aspect a bit , will she eventually mellow into a determined unconditional love .... maybe . Our mc , yup just going with the flow fir the most part !
