Anyone else feel like it'd be more interesting for women to use their own developed slang for loose men? Like, this "it's like us but reversed~" is... eh. Low-effort.

I just realized that Hades' wife is just Demeter and Persephone mashed together. At least he isn't married to a teenager, anymore

I swear Hephaestus looks like he'd be a dead ringer for Dionysus if he was a little fatter.

Brother, that's not Hephaestus. He's not depressed enough. Or crippled. That's some Roman patrician who choked on goat testicle, probably

I need a show of hands on whether or not other people think this is all incredibly contrived

You know. I wonder how much more sad this would be if he did as she asked when they first met as neighbors. "It's not like I knew you before, either. Goodnight, hubae." We as readers and Mia realize that this forced martyrdom hurts worse when the person whom you'd been getting ready to reject had already rejected you as a concept long ago. He doesn't know who you are and that's purely fact. Any memories you had tried to forget, even the good ones, are missing in him. The eyes that take you in stare with a cold indifference that sees only a stranger, just as you'd lied to yourself that this would be best for both of you. It'd be a more introspective story, examining why she thinks this behavior is the right call and how that isn't actually working out for her and her supposed desires.

It might be a bit of a beaten path, but his own personal journey could be an examination of why he doesn't really let anyone get close, anymore. Some half-arms length contact, mostly using the acquisition of money as a wall to prevent that interpersonal connection from growing too deep. A "friend" to him is someone who will tolerate him long enough to give him money. His attraction to his sunbae as terrifying as it is misguided; he thinks he likes her, but he truly likes the idea of a good relationship with a beautiful woman.

Sorry, kids, I might just be in my melancholy cup.

Hoookay. The bullying angle, fine. She can fuck off. You don't deserve forgiveness because you exist.

His childhood friend? Brother, she has no obligation to love you more than she has feelings for you. She had a boyfriend. Or has one. You can be friends. It honestly doesn't seem like you wanted to be friends with her unless she could be a romantic option, which is typical of stories like this. If she ever gets mad at you during this, it's honestly on you for not being able to move past it.

His sister. All we know is that she was bad to him, somehow, so the jury's out, there.

This is starting to feel very self-indulgent. Not to mention that he's a self-proclaimed "gloomy guy." He's doing his best to be aloof and cool about it, but I doubt that he's a true "gloomy guy" in the same way that Uichi is in You are a Four-Left Clover. It feels forced. Annoying. Maybe that's on purpose. I dunno.

Yeah, brother, and another open man-lover. Gotta love the homoeroticism in this review. All that manliness, fuck yeah. Gotta love it when the MC's a real man

I mean... that is a big thing for him to participate in, being a normal high schooler is important. But, like, you were about to make fucking bank, too. You have the skills you need to excel in the industry. You don't need to go back to school
