Honestly if the Yandere was a girl instead of a guy he would have probably been all for it

Also we don't know if the Player inside of the old MC was actually a girl or not it "could" have been which would have made sense as to why they hated all of the girl characters and surrounded themselves with a harem of guys.

Guess he was too close to mc and should have played match maker between mc and some of the female characters

I'm assuming he saved all of the monsters during his adventuring days then taught them as a teacher
