This doesn't really make sense. If this fire destroys anything, then the scabbard should be destroyed by the fire as well. But instead you just put the scabbard in the fire without it being destroyed, not just at that moment but while Han comes back as well and perfectly stays in place on the scabbard without burning Han up as well?

How do you know that is what is being said?

How can Han Bin kill a being that a fire that will destroy anything can't even burn.

Doesn't need to. MC is strong enough to ignore their attacks or otherwise block em off or disable them. Anyone coming at MC, MC doesn't know and doesn't seem hell bent on killing MC, just ignore them. Speed your way to the evil boss and evil subcontractor or whatever, and ignore the rest.

You better split (banana style) then like I will.

I don't like tournament arcs and I find it stupid to decide who gets the light fruit via tournament as well.

Tournament is a terrible way to decide who will get the fruit. What if a potential enemy gets this fruit. What if the shadow tiger wins the light fruit, wouldn't that be a issue? Or would it become yin-yang-e?

Anyway it should be the individuals that can best benefit from the power and most deserving of the power who will handle it most responsibly and are loyal to MC. A tournament will determine none of this.

That sister everyone turns to should probably get the light fruit, maybe healing will come with it and it sounds like em deserves it.

Also I find tournament arcs boring AF usually.

Hopefully not. That would make me dislike MC and the story. The regular adventurers I am sure are completely ignorant of these doings and could easily be good people responding to a invader in their guild. They should not be seriously harmed even if they are attacking.

It is a very big guild, surely there are ordinary good people in it as well.

Which coincidences do you refer to?

If MC had waited a little bit em might have learned a bit from further eves-dropping.

Being obsessed with a person can also mean depending on them instead of your own strength which also can mean you don't give effort to develop your own strength.

And specifically with this situation the obsession trait seems to be a single target, switching to MC means no obsession with getting stronger.

And in general this is a world where you need to be strong to survive.

"that guy made her 10000x stronger in the few months they knew each other than the literal years she spent being trained by you."

I see no evidence of that. Sounds like she's gotten much stronger in MC's absence

Many deep sea animals like a shark etc. live for many centuries. But they also have a super slow metabolism to deal with the minimal amount of food, so their awareness of the time passing must be minimal as well. So basically they probably don't really get centuries worth of awareness when compared to say humans.

If all abilities are disabled, then shouldn't the many life ability also be disabled?

Pick a tune and stick with it. The original topic is one chooses to become a "villain" or not. Not whether anyone "has reason to be upset". Plenty of people have valid reason to be very upset but don't go around doing villainous evil.

So all serial killers and sexual predators in your opinion should get a free pass because "forced by their environment". Since all choices of everyone are decided by environment. Yet we still need to take personal responsibility for our choices!

If you want to make a anti-religious point that a all knowing all powerful god makes "free will" null and void from that beings perspective, you may have a point. But I have not seen such a being in this story.

What makes you a "villain" is the choices you make. It is absurd comparison to say choices are the same as physical disability.

You can not dismiss the choices one makes. Both those who created such a bad environment and those who make bad choices as a result are both 100% responsible for bad results

Why did you choose to become a villain? Not sure if that is a terrible question or a great one.

If Seol is wondering why other people think of em as a villain, because villainous behavior of course...

Why do you think em believes gossip?

This is a direct contradiction, which I suppose is the point. Says essentially "I have no agency or thought" then directly follows up with "I act on what I believe in". You just finished saying you don't believe in anything but your "master"!
