Darkness never revealed during the broadcast that they made the promise to spare the city, so humanity won’t know of its deceitful nature when making promises. Of course you could argue the station personnel could’ve gotten the word out and spread the message of its false promise, but this is a manhua so the author will most likely just ignore the possibility like they usually do. The author is pushing this so that the MC will have this “epic battle” against the world, plot holes be damned (lol).

Regen doesn’t really make sense, a soul leaving the body signifies death as far as we’ve seen. More likely the sack is his true form and the body was just a puppet/substitute, or maybe the sack allows him to store souls as extra lives. Who knows ¯\\_(ツ)_/¯

I don’t like it. I don’t like that he can’t explain why he felt such rage for that girl, even if you argue it’s just basic morals. Everything lines up too perfectly, and he knows it. He knows he’s gotta be under some form of manipulation, yet he doesn’t take action because he benefits from it. Some might say he’s smart for not taking action, but that’s just ignoring the matter at hand. He’s not actively trying to find other traces of the modern world, nor is he trying to figure out the relation of the Azure Jade with the Heavenly Demon Cult or whatever they changed its name to. Expanding his influence and progressing civilization is fun and all, but like, what about the other shit?
He didn’t even tame the cult to prevent other casualties of their brutality, and it could’ve even helped him on his side quest (imo it might as well be a side quest) of getting rich by expanding his influence! It’s not like anyone would snitch on him being their heavenly demon if he gave the order to.

All in all, to me it seems like the MC is willingly staying blissfully ignorant. Let’s see where the author tries to take it from here I suppose.

2: Not the skirt that’s a problem here. That was just an example. It’s happened elsewhere and as I said, to me it seems random. No rhyme or reason to why they’re blurring stuff out.

4: Just wrong? Most of the time it’s gray, because the illustrator (if you can even call them that) draws the MC from afar and doesn’t give a damn about consistency. Even then, the closeups don’t follow a pattern either. His irises when on the bird had 3 shades of color, when he was falling down his eyes were a singular fourth color (blue). Why? I don’t know! I can’t understand it. Irises won’t change because of lighting!

You might not be bothered by these things or never notice them, but as i’ve said earlier, I sure as hell do. And they annoy me. So i’ve dropped it. Peace ✌️

4 things stand out to me:
1: lighting can get a bit wonky at times, Feels like the sun shifts location in between panels. Also, some parts of the characters tend to get shaded darker than they’re supposed to, whilst other parts don’t receive any shading at all.
2: random blurring. I don’t know why they do it, but it’s fucking annoying. E.g. the scene where she lies on her back with birds and butterflies surrounding her. I cant understand why they would blur her skirt and the edges of the comic.
3: They throw line weight around willy nilly. Silhouettes don’t follow the same line thickness nor can I find any semblance of a pattern or planned thickness in the drawn lines.
4: (This one annoys me most) the gosh darn eyes. Pick a color damn it! I feel like either the MC has multiple eye colors he chooses at will or i’m going colorblind.

Ok, dropping this ai-assisted trash. Too many inconsistencies and odd hand poses (and just straight up AI-generated hands) for me to take it seriously. Everything screams ‘AI’, ‘FAKE’, etc etc to me every single page. Might as well just not read it at all.
