I’m gonna go ahead and say it’s due to some funky family artifact, like an old ass watch from his grandpa. Raise to 2 ice cubes!

Prediction: Kicho is probably gonna be forced to retire from boxing due to heavy injuries, maybe even dying for this victory just so the author gets the MC back to his boxing path. Something along the lines of “Kicho died (or got crippled, same sentiment) whilst fighting for his love, so I should fight for mine too”.

That and Torres coming back to motivate Kali to fight again. I dunno, this is just how I feel the story is going to pan out, let’s see where the author takes this.

I disagree. Although his army is undeniably formidable, facing 5, albeit weakened, tribes of perhaps multiple species with each their own god is still a high task. The elves, which are his only ally, are weakened and unable to properly provide support if needed. There’s no reason to ambush the 3 factions whom are supposedly nearing the end of their conflict, when you could instead unify your land and create only a single potential border of conflict (assuming there are no seafaring species). This allows you to build up strength and gives time to the elves to recuperate, whilst guaranteeing a single frontline greatly reducing the threat of flanks and/or encirclement. After this expansion, you could engage diplomatic talks with the now severely weakened and war-torn tribes after they’ve settled their dues. After all, nobody wants to lose the game, since that ends in the destruction of their souls. Survival is top priority, always, and by any means.

Remember, these players need to think of the long run. Expending all of their resources to win a war only to be severely weakened and vulnerable is not the way a ranker like the MC should play. If building your overall strength up and solidifying your position whilst the enemies are weakening themselves is a possibility, why not take it? Seems the much more logical way of thinking if you ask me.

PS:
Unrelated, but I personally do think the MC will play it out this way. He played smart in the conflict between the Ogres and Centaurs, I see no reason why he wouldn’t view this situation with the same mindset.

The main Factions are: The Demonic Cult, The Imperials (aka the Ming Empire) and the six blades martial school (shortened to SBMS).

The Imperials invited the main 3 forces (Demonic, Orthodox and Unorthodox) to come resign the peace treaty with the soon-to-be new crown prince. They however, also invited the new 4th main force, the SBMS. MC from the demonic side infiltrates the Royal Palace to root out the SBSM spies who have infiltrated every main force by now, and promises to hand over the spies to the prince who visited him so that he may receive merits and become the crown prince. That, and the infiltration squad of the cult stopped reporting back so he had to gather intel anyways (they were found to be tortured to death, so the cult and the imperials are NOT on good terms). We’ll call this prince and his buddies Imperial A.

His brother, a different prince (we’ll call him and his buddies (the eunuchs) Imperial B) sides with the SBSM. The SBSM wanted to slaughter the guardian hall and frame the demonic cult as the culprits. By doing so, the Orthodox and potentially unorthodox(?) would engage in another great war, which would significantly weaken them and lead to the SBSM rising in strength. Imperial B would be able to eliminate Imperial A as competition, because he would have allegedly brought the cult inside and caused this slaughter, albeit unknowingly.

TLDR:
SBSM —> frame the cult, cause another great war between the 3 main factions.
Demonic Cult: Eliminate the SBSM spies in the imperial faction and locate their Infiltration squads.
The Imperials: Split between Imperial A & B, power struggle to achieve the title of crown prince.

PS:
Orthodox: there to verify the marks of the killing techniques used in the Guardian Hall, drastically affecting relations between factions.
Unorthodox: N/A (as far as I can see)
Imperials: fued between the Eunuchs of the East Hall who side with Imperial B, and the Embroidered guards who stay neutral (but help Imperial A because he’s threatened by Imperial B and the Eunuchs). Conflict of interests, but never really liked eachother anyway.

Eh, doubt they’re going for that symbolism since the author is really trying to portray a form of “evil” or “malice”. More likely than not, they’re trying to show demonic/devilish antichrist faith.

Yup, the only guy friend she wrote. If there’s another, then kudos to the author for sneaking him in because the red heads are the only guys I know in this series aside from true protag.

The singular non 100% npc guy student at school. He got introduced in the first girl arc (the blond one, I forgot her name lol) as someone who liked her and helped in the fight against the stalker. Don’t ask me his name, cuz I also have no clue

Just my 2 cents, but… you’re placing way too much importance on the curse book, and more importantly I think you’ve missed the core essence of this story. The way I see it, the curse book is just a way to integrate out of battle scenes of antagonists for us viewers. You need to remember that this is a COMEDY at its core. Nothing here is taken too seriously! A villains life could suddenly be ending because the MC decided to take action, and their reaction would just be a goofy face. So these scenes are just funny scenarios for us viewers, wherein we can see that the all-powerful xxx cultivation stage villain is sipping on chrysanthemum tea to improve his health (as an example). It’s just comic relief. That’s what this story is all about, a slow life of cultivation told with humor in mind.

On a side note… well, I don’t want to call you deluded or anything, but I don’t think this comic is able to promote any form of ritualistic spiritualism like voodoo or whatever. In the first place ritualistic spiritualism barely has any place in the modern world, only finding success through super old conservative families who still believe in folk-remedies. Nobody who reads this feels the urge to purchase a curse-book lolol. And keeping things vague because of offending sects/cults? That’s even more far-fetched. What, is the “demon heaven returning subverting itchy bum” cult going to overturn our world order? There isn’t some voodoo high senate who holds global power… This is more of a tinfoil hat case than saying scientology is good.

PS: You can’t possibly be calling the MC full of resentment… he’s been chilling in a damn mountain for hundreds of years. He only curses his enemies, aka people who openly show animosity to him (since the system picks that up). Can you blame a guy who just wants to live as long as possible in peace to, yknow,
live as long as possible in peace AND deal damage to hostiles?

The rival was weakened due to that failed prophecy right? Plus they’re wandering right now, and fighting on enemy homeground (especially without supply routes) is always a tougher fight. More likely than not, she just skirmished a bit with the rival (i’m gonna keep calling him that since I forgot his name lol) since he’s exploring new territory. Not weird for him to stumble among claimed land, just means he decided to back out and search further.
