Well they typically can do things like cleave a mountain in two or destroy a large rock wall with their fists so they usually do more damage with their bare hands than a bullet from a gun, so It makes sense that if they don't explode after a single punch, they can survive a bullet fired at them.

Can't remember 100% if it was just a reset option, or a wish type option.

He could possibly reset the world with everyone remembering him so he can be loved and rewarded :P

As long as the MC completes the "game" he can reset everything, so even if they die it doesn't matter too much.

Half expected a prompt saying the MC had ended the war with his assassination part way through that speech...

Or to put it another way: 10 whole chapters in only 5 years... :(
