I told myself that if this chapter was fire I'd keep the series bookmarked.
Unfortunately it feels lackluster. It was short, and is further teasing the fight between Rokan and Skaldi and Thor. They introduced an entire new realm that was never foreshadowed (at least not enough for me to catch it) And it even seems like this realm will have little to no impact on the story as a whole.
I feel like that desert arc was the last decent one, after that it was all downhill. It was downhill before the desert arc as well, but that arc was juuuust above the threshold. I mean, look back at the original chapters at how Rokan acted, and then these new chapters, he is a completely different character. And I get that there is character development and all, but I feel like all the reasons for the character development came really late in the series (desert arc again) And then happened waaaay to quickly.
The feeling I always got from Rokan was that he was a lone wolf and self serving, but that he could get good relations with select few people. I don't see that anymore...
