I was right. He was the prick that betrayed them. Also first look at necromancer is interesting.

Seems pretty self explanatory to me.

Yeah people think love is just feeling good. That's why the divorce rate is so high. As soon as the good feeling goes away for a bit they start hedging their bets and looking for backups and escape routes.

Wow. An "all powerful superior species" that actually does something and isn't just a mascot? I'm shocked. Flabbergasted one might say.

Alert! Danger! Cocky attitude has lead to unforseen consequences. Quick, spin situation to pit the two problem children against eachother.

That's fine. I agree that we seem to have a fundamental disagreement on how we view morality, reason, and emotion. I think that all decisions made purely through emotion are by definition unreasonable. Experiencing emotions, and acting on those emotions are not on the same playing field. I would be SAD if someone killed my family member due to self defense (and my family member caused issues unprovoked) and I would possibly be angry. That's reasonable. BUT, taking unjust actions on the basis of those emotions is unreasonable. Him just feeling sad or mad or however he wants to feel as a result of his brothers death is all fine, it becomes unreasonable when he took actions based on those emotions to try to punish Arthur for his self defense.

Emotional reasoning is not "reasonable." Being emotional can be reasonable, but taking those emotions to the extreme and condemning others based on nothing but those emotions is indefensible in my view. I think the readers are plenty justified to be pissed off at him.

Disagree. Horrible people are horrible people, whatever DNA they may have. But the main issue isn't him being privately upset/sad that his brother dies, but that he tried to use his influence to get Arthur severely punished despite the fact that his actions saved many people from the little brother. Being pissed is one thing, pressuring the royalty to punish Arthur was the problem (iirc).

He was talking about it as a monster on earth when he was there (it seemed like a hunter world like disaster class hero). He wasn't talking about the mythology.

Except that it wasn't reasonable. His brother was a problem and a half and deserved to die.
