Saying: that's not a spoiler because you should be able to predict that is idiotic. I make lots of predictions about ways a story will go. That's not the same thing as presenting objectively true information from an outside source.

Not the explanation. The fact we are gonna see an example in an upcoming arc is a spoiler. Just because you're not smart enough to notice "broski" doesn't mean it's not there.

I like this prince. Gotta admit I kinda get annoyed with mcs always being independent and never accepting any offers to join people/groups/guilds and that sort of thing. I would be pleasantly surprised if he just accepted since the prince is acquiescing to his requests.

I think both are valid beliefs. The invalid belief is thinking it's not close.

The real marshmallow experiment was a flawed experiment that measured kids ability to wait for delayed gratification (one marshmallow now or 2 later) and then measured their success later in life and found a lot of correlation. It was very popular for a while until someone pointed out that the correlation also strongly resembled which kids lived in food insecure households (they were less likely to wait for a second because they don't know when their next meal will be). So essentially they just proved that socioeconomic status correlated to success in life which like, duh.
