Is is storywise? Gameplay? Soundtrack? Art? Character creation? Gaming experience? Voice casting? Because all the thing i've point out baldur have it all. I know for sure spiderman 2 is a great game cause i've played it myself but baldur does things i mentioned better. Every dialogue have an insane amount of voice casting, the soundtrack was immersive, the art is top notch, character creation was limited but it was good limitation and if we're talking about gameplay wise i'm sorry maybe you can't play turn based game but the point is not the turn based gameplay. It is the choice, every single choice you made in game affect everything. You take a nap just to recover mana? Well then the village next to you will be ransacked by orc. You stole some item from corpse? Thank god when it revive to be a zombie it became a naked one. You're asking the boss to kill his self since he like to operate? If you're lucky the boss will do it to himself and you just avoid one crazy teamfight and get rewarded. Baldur's gate immerse you in the game, you are a character that matter every single time, you will determine the game because you matter, it gives you the experience that you have worth, you matter. Now please enlighten me, does spiderman 2 or other game give you the self worth that you matter in this world?
