Yup the anime is too confusing for me so i'm just gonna read the manga :p

After re-reading this a lot of stuff has changed it's kinda suprising almost like they've added a bunch of stuff in-between the pre-existing story which is honestly so confusing it almost feels like what I read before was nothing but a fever dream XD, not saying it's bad now it's the opposite everything that needed to be flushed out has been & axing of story elements has been fixed.
edit: this is all super weird how it's all been changed even weirder still the old comments are still there, am I just miss remembering the manga or did it change I'm so confused XD
