NGL what even is going on with this series now? mc accomplished all his dreams: he's rich, his family is healthy and back together now. He got revenge on his hater, he's rank 1 in competitive. Only really keeping this series going is 1) Story of arena 2) Love interests that haven't been developed at all. Even then, the story has kind of fallen off as it has this weird pacing where before we would've taken the time to explain and show things before moving on to another plot point but lately it's just been all gas no breaks. We have no chance to enjoy and absorb the information and world building the story gives us since it'll just get skipped and swept under the rug literally 5 seconds later

So from what i can surmise, the emperor wants someone to take over for him, maybe someone he can actually go all out against, maybe as another user pointed out: there is a prophecy concerning the emperor where he must be defeated, or he becomes evil or something and its up to the players to beat him. Either way, I do enjoy the fact that we are getting more emperor. His backstory and relationships need to be expounded upon.

So the original hwangbo gun ak (the first saint) was the one locked up and skinned in the prison that mc killed. The guy that wears his skin and impersonates him is from the north(maybe from yuan like the darkness attack guy. The darkness attack guy has a son and there is a woman that they have which is teased to be MC's friend that got kidnapped in the beginning. Also there are people from yuan making sure no one finds out about what happened at that time when she was kidnapped. Mc's master daughter is getting stalked by red sect monk guy. Also is it me or is MCs face looking more and more like his master? It's a cool detail if true.
